Upset with hitting the defense with a lot of good young talent? Especially up front? Ok.

Keep playing the obtuse/contrarian card. It’s done wonders for your posting credibility.

I've been looking at a few of those players. I wonder if Holton Hill will be a better safety and I just checked out Sam Jones. We all saw Lauletta in action.

I just did one and got Chubb in the first, then I had to make a difficult decision in the 2nd with Davenport, Payne, and Vea all there, I went with Davenport with fingers crossed.

Sheperd is getting a lot of love since the senior bowl...I don't think he's gonna last that long anymore..

Guy could be a steal, but now he's looking more like a midround steal...

That's an obtuse answer. Your statement was vague. I gave youa chance to explain why you would be upset and you replied with the same tired, overused nonsense about contrarian and obtuse. My posting credibility isn't at stake in this one. That would be yours.

Suddenly, who I am able to pick on the sims has been drastically changed!

I'm sure trade downs could have been involved in this sim, and it would have altered it.

CB NICK NELSON WISCONSIN.....Name caught my eye from an MJW post. Still on my list of dudes to look at.

183: R6P6
DL CHRISTIAN LACOUTURE LSU Caught my eye at the senior bowl. High effort guy an low investment in the 6th.
205: R6P28

S DOMINICK SANDERS GEORGIA.....I gotta stop targeting this kid. He must be down here for a reason.

237: R7P19
EDGE TYQUAN LEWIS OHIO STATE....project.

7: R1P7
G QUENTON NELSON NOTRE DAME...passed up Barkley and rightfully so.

38: R2P6
CB ISAIAH OLIVER COLORADO...top CB on the board and the back end of the first cleaned out the edge rushers.

69: R3P5
DL HARRISON PHILLIPS STANFORD....285lb guy so I'm guessing a 3 tech. Maybe can get some reps behind McCoy.

110: R4P8
LB HERCULES MATA'AFA WASHINGSTON ST.....I don't care if he's 255lbs You put his hand in the dirt and watch him go. His get-off is soooo fast.

146: R5P7
RB RASHAAD PENNY SDSU With Nelson blocking, he'll do damage with Peyton Barber. Jaquizz is outta here with this pick.

183: R6P6
S VAN SMITH CLEMSON....I don't know much about this kid but pickings were getting slim.

205: R6P28
CB ANTHONY AVERETT ALABAMA....Gimmie corners. He doesn't have to start right away.

237: R7P19
WR D.J. CHARK LSU....In the doldrums here. Chark coming off a strong senior bowl will have a shot at the roster here. Can he return punts?

255: R7P37
FB KHALID HILL MICHIGAN....Hows about a 263lb Fullback to shoot the A gap and take the Mike out of the play for Barber and Penny?

Got a few guys here I havent looked at yet so if you got any notes on one of these dudes, let me know.

I don't know why it says Miami had that pick. In that draft, Miami traded up to 5 with Denver. Denver had that pick. I traded #7 overall, our 2nd, 4th, and our 2019 1st.

Also I moved down in the 3rd with Green Bay for their 3rd, 4th and 5th. Moved down 7 spots for 2 extra picks. Seemed like a no brainer.

Round 1 Pick 15 (ARI): Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB/FS, Alabama (A+)
Traded back 3 times, still landed Fitzpatrick. Great deal and pick.
Round 1 Pick 20 (DET): Marcus Davenport, DE/OLB, Texas-San Antonio (A-)
Used the Bucs original 2nd and a 2nd received in a trade from the Cardinals to get this pick. Davenport helps the pass rush and DE position in general.
Round 2 Pick 14 (CINN): Deon Cain, WR, Clemson (B+)
"A WR in the 2nd round? Bootz has lost his mind!" Uh huh. Cain will be what people think Chris Godwin is. He'll be a better pro than Godwin.
Round 2 Pick 27 (S.F.): Dorance Armstrong Jr., DE/OLB, Kansas (B+)
Did someone say the pass rush was a problem? Yea more help on the way.
Round 3 Pick 7 (DEN): Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State (A-)
At the worst a solid swing tackle and potential starting RT in the future. But if for whatever reason the team changes their mind on Donovan Smith Jones has the experience and skill to replace him on the blindside.
Round 4 Pick 8: Maea Teuhema, OG, Southeastern Louisiana (A+)
Oline depth and help.
Round 4 Pick 9 (DEN): Duke Dawson, CB, Florida (A+)
You should draft corners every year. Casuals will roll their eyes at another shorter, thicker corner from UF but much shouldn't be expected at this junture in the draft. Slot guy at best.
Round 5 Pick 7: Kyzir White, SS, West Virginia (A)
Don't think he lasts this long. He's going to be a good strong safety. Not twitchy or very athletic but he's basically another LB on the field. Could help the run.
Round 6 Pick 6: Eddy Pineiro, K, Florida (A+)
After 8 players drafted, 9 & 10 help us get younger, better and cheaper on STs.
Round 6 Pick 28: Michael Dickson, P, Texas (A)
Bryan Anger has a non-guaranteed $3mil salary......The punter. No thanks.

I didn't make any trades.

1: R1P7
EDGE BRADLEY CHUBB
NORTH CAROLINA STATE

2: R2P6
G WILL HERNANDEZ
UTEP

3: R3P5
RB NICK CHUBB
GEORGIA

4: R4P8
C FRANK RAGNOW
ARKANSAS

5: R5P7
CB KEVIN TOLLIVER
LSU

6: R6P6
QB MIKE WHITE
WESTERN KENTUCKY

7: R6P28
OT BRETT TOTH
ARMY

This went more offense heavy then I intended. If we move Marpet back to guard, we'd have an exciting interior line. The first four picks all likely start as rookies. The last three are values.
