Doc's Super Awesome Fun Filled Full First Round Mock!!

CLE Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M- Duh

SF Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU-
The first shake-up. Shanny will still draft a QB late for insurance but will target Kirk Cousins next year. Will want the rest of the offense ready to plug and play.

CHI Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama- Was seen at the #2 guy forever before everyone "overthought" it. Need more talent in that front.

JAX Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford- Fowler has yet to earn his selection and Coughlin knows it's all about that DL.

CLE (from LAR VIA TEN) Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina- What's the point of having all those picks if you can't get who you want when you want him?

NYJ Jamal Adams, S, LSU- A lot of people how Howard here but I don't think Bowles wants to get fired. Bowles is a former safety, Adams is a top need and BPA.

LAC Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State- Makes too much sense.

CAR OJ Howard, TE, Alabama- Say what?? Oh yeah. But they have Olsen? They also had meetings with Howard, Njoku, and Engram because Olsen isn't getting younger and TE is crucial to the Panthers offense. Also, for the time being, it will give Cam an incredibly dangerous two TE set that can run block and go out for passes. You already need to commit safety help to Olson, now you have Howard too?

CIN Haason Reddick, LB, Temple- Word is Bengals really like Reddick. They need help at LB and pass rush and he does both. This is where Foster would have gone but Cincy can't afford more knucklehead LBs.

BUF Mike Williams, WR, Clemson- Bills will draft a QB later in case Tyrod gets hurt they want a Dak. I'd bet Nathan Peterman. For now, they get both another weapon. Really wanted to put Watson here though.

NO Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State- Saints stay put and get the draft's best CB, which they sorely need.

TEN (from PHI via CLE) Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama- Fosters' fall is short lived. Titans add a huge piece to their defense. I had Conley here, but rape drops you further than a diluted sample.

ARI Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama- Cards pass on a QB for a CB. May try to move back up to secure Kizer later in the first.

PHI (from MIN) Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford- Davis and Ross are other options because they need weapons, but McC can do it all and help out that soft run game.

IND Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee- This is where Barnett's free fall stops.

BAL Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan- They would have loved for Fosters fall to be bigger, but come away adding a great day 1 weapon.

WAS Takkarist McKinley, DE, UCLA- Another team that was hoping for that free fall. They take a pass rusher instead.

TEN (from LAR) John Ross, WR, Washington- After going defense they take the fastest man in the draft.

TB Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State- Teams that passed on a QB earlier will be trying to trade back up, but offers won't be good enough. Bucs stay put.

DEN Garett Bolles, OL, Utah- The organization is split between who is the top OT with Ram. Ultimately Bolles wins out.

DET Charles Harris, DE, Missouri- This pick can go many ways. Also thought Taco or King.

MIA Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky- It was really hard not to put Jarrad Davis here, but ultimately they love Lamp.

NYG David Njoku, TE, Miami (Fla)- They wanted Bolles, could settle for Ram, but go with putting their TE problem to bed.

OAK Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida- Raiders get a thumper for the middle of their D.

HOU Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson- Patrick Mahomes is another option and I hear they like him better. But it's an unforgiving league and Bill O'Brien doesn't have time to groom. He goes with Watson hoping his talent and ability to win games can push Houston to a Superbowl behind its defense.

SEA Ryan Ramczyk, OL, Wisconsin- Seahawks bolsters their OL.

KC Kevin King, CB, Washington- Chiefs do have time to groom Mahomes, but still, think they're thinking win now.

DAL TreDavious White, CB, LSU- Cowboys could also go Taco here but opt for coverage.

GB Adoree Jackson, CB, USC- Super talented CB that can also return kicks.

PIT Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech- Pit has too much in Bell and Bryant to let Big Ben ruin it by walking away. They secure a QBTOF.

AZ (from ATL) Deshon Kizer, QB, Notre Dame- Arizona trades back into the first to secure their QB, jumping the Bears and Jets in the next round.

NO (from NE) Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan- Saints can't get enough defensive help. Plus, it seems like every year someone we love goes to a rival.

Thought? Comments? Complaints?

USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports the Cardinals have done a "lot of work" on Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer.
Picking at No. 13, the Cards have been strongly connected to Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes. Kizer would be more of a Day 2 option if the Cards strike out on Mahomes or settle on another position. Perhaps they could also trade back into the late first round to land Kizer.

Would you look at that.
