I thought Jon Toth was bigger than that. I see why they like Marpet for center. Very similar build.

Chad Wheeler's knee is fine. Botched his stunt drill. Narrow base.

Moton is a guy I've been paying attention to also. Four year starter on one of the best mid-major offenses in football and the things I've read about his character and work ethic make him sound like Joe Thomas. I think he goes in the 2nd.

Toth is one of my favorite Day Three centers but yeah he's on the light side. Between that and his mediocre workout numbers I think he'll fall further than he should based on his play.

Not a Chad Wheeler fan. Once tackles get significantly north of 6'5 they need to have outstanding agility and flexibility IMHO. I don't see that as Wheeler. I think he's a swing tackle who gets overdrafted.

The guy people are sleeping on is Antonio Garcia from Troy. The Duane Brown is strong with him and indeed I think he makes a ZBS team really, really happy.

Also, I'm a huge fan of Julie'n Davenport from tiny Bucknell. I think he redshirts for a year, or maybe plays RT on a team with a problem there, and then he's an 8 year starter on the left side for somebody.

Moton looked like a three year pro out there. Looked real good in shorts.

Elflein was the center I thought looked best.

All I have seen of Davenport was the senior bowl and the combine. Given the limited sample, I don't see the attraction.

Steve Smith Sr. Has Kupp as his #1 WR.

"There's no route he can't run."

High praise.

Amazing talent on field today with the CB/S class working out.

Underrated guy turning heads is UConn S Obi Melifonwu, at 6'4" 224lbs

With more an more teams adopting the Seahawks C-3 base I could see this guy rise up draft boards and make it into day 2.

This guy just had among the best broad and vert jumps for his position in NFL combine history.

6'4" w/ a 44" vertical and 33" arms = 152" (12'8") high point...

If we had a guy like him and a guy like Hasaan Reddick or Peppers - I swear I'd take our left defensive end off the field on third downs. Have both of them buzzing around not showing who is going after the quarterback and the other flying back into coverage at the snap.

He's raw and has questionable play recognition skills, but he's a physical freak. He'll go in the second round, but I've heard him talked about as maybe the 3rd best safety in the draft.

It all really depends how the draft falls. If a top prospect like Hooker or Cook falls to us at 19, and then there's a run on CBs for 31 picks, we can be left holding the short straw. But we'd have a top prospect so I'm not worried. I actually kind of think this is exactly what will happen.

This is the most talented class of defensive backs I can remember in the past decade. Both top end prospects and depth at both CB and S.

The ONLY thing it's missing a Patrick Peterson type of Top 5 overall talent at the CB position. But still plenty of 1st round talent and depth to make up for it.

Just ran a 4.46... One of the best workouts I've seen from any NFL combine. Made himself some $$$ today for sure.

Teams have been running that system for years before Seattle did. Obi is not the safety for that system. His coverage skills need work and he doesn't appear to have the natural instincts to play that Earl Thomas role.

No chance at the 1st round with a 4.63 and 4.68 for CB at Tabors size. Lucky to be drafted day 2.

I was talking more of the Seahawks coaching tree on defense spreading throughout the league.

I was thinking more of a SS at first given his size is similar to Kam Chancellor, but with that speed (4.6) he may be the type of large (Brandon Browner) type of CB coveted in a C-3 base.

Nothing about his game indicates he's physical enough to play Safety in the SEC, much less the NFL.

4.63 is slow for CB, tbh I don't remember CB getting drafted in rd 1 running 4.6 or slower. Much less in a CB class this deep.

Teez has skills, but 4.6 OFTEN means you can't track/make-up on WRs that get separation. Teez would have to be he's the exception, vice the rule.

I'm a Gator, so this is tough to see. But it is what it is.

Great time for Marlon Humphrey. I think he's the #2 CB in this class after Lattimore, edging slightly ahead of Sidney Jones. I'd be happy with any of those 3 at 19.

If teams are dumb enough to pass on him because of 40 times I'd gladly take him at 19 or trade up in the 2nd if I got the sense that teams will pass him.

I'm not saying Teez can't play, or lacks skills. But a 4.63/4.68 raises flags for CB.

Who was the last CB to drafted in the 1st round that ran a 4.63 or slower?

If you can't name one, please explain why you feel Teez should be the exception here?

When the 40 yard dash becomes part of NFL games, let me know. Al Davis must be living thru you. Again if teams are dumb enough to ignore his tape in favor of "oh but he ran a 4.63 in shorts" trade up and get him. Everything here suggests you haven't seen him play 1 bit.

If you got game and speed adds to it --- then you got something special. Speed alone wont cut it. I have never seen this many corners under 4.5, never ever.
