Trade back/trade up scenarios are lovely...but the thread pertains to the 19th pick.

IF we're stuck at 19...who do you take?

Put your balls out there and make a pick.

Njoku or Howard are my favorites. Not there and we can't trade back? I'm not against Engram, Baker or Mixon.

This thread was created in November and has included quite a bit of analysis and discussion with all the news that has come out. I was interested in talking about Schefter's report that the Bucs are talking to three teams about trading down.

At 34 pages in, we are much further along than "put your balls out there". If you are looking for a thread where people are treating as a "final answer, who do we draft?" maybe you should try this thread. If you are specifically looking for my pick when I put my "balls out there", I'd try there first to satiate your curiosity.

Howard and Cook are my dream scenarios, but if both those guys and the rest of the top guys are gone...

Give me Engram, and then get Foreman in round 2.

Clevelands two 2nds are worth more than #19 using the value chart as a reference. We'd have 3 of the first 19 picks in rd 2 including the top choice Friday. We could always trade down from one of those for another 3rd or 4th also.

Really depends on how the board falls and the options at 19.

Easy sailor. I just happened to respond after you. It wasn't DIRECTED towards you. Sensitive, aren't we?

I just happened to take the thread title at face value...regardless of when it was started.

Silly me for doing so.

However...if you're down for showing your balls...can't say I wouldn't be interested...

How many 6-4 220 pound LBs are there in the league? Nothing about him says LB.

Julio Jones is debatably the best wide receiver in football. He has averaged over 100 yards per game for the last four years. He would not be easily shut down by a rookie safety, of all people.

And asking your rookie safety to shut down one of the best targets in the game is a recipe for disaster. Borderline suicidal.

I don't like Obi. At all. Late risers in the draft who rise because of track drills are a huge red flag for me. His film is pedestrian. Do not want.

Not to mention he was pretty bad in coverage. No way is Obi shutting Julio Jones down in year 1.

Now Mayock is mocking Hooker to us. What is with these recent mocks having him tumble out of the top 10? In our division, with these QBs, this would be the dream scenario.

Hooker would be a dream. You'd think someone would trade up for him if nothing else before he makes it to 19, but you never know. Every year produces a couple guys who fall down the board for no apparent reason.

If he's on the board at 19 and we trade down we better get some amazing ****ing value...

Since January he has had hip surgery and two hernia repair surgeries, so didn't get any combine or offseason hype. His combine interviews reportedly showed a lack of football acumen. He played two years in high school and basically one in college, so not very experienced. Tackling technique needs improvement, to say the least.

I could see him falling. Even if he has an up and down, borderline crappy first year, I feel pretty good about him if he stays healthy and focuses on his craft. He's a more raw, less experienced, more injury-prone Ed Reed.

Casserly has us passing on Hooker to take Cook and the Phins getting him @ 22. After they scooped up Tunsil last season, that scenario would really frustrate me.

Agree with Jordan, Hooker sitting there makes it more expensive to get me out of 19.

Draft Hooker or Cook? That's a great dilemma to have.

That's not even a dilemma. Hooker is easily the better prospect overall and is at a position of need.

I think Howard and Njoku may well be gone at 19 now. I am leaning towards Ramzcyk at this point. Give us bookend tackles. If Marpet and Sweezy are as good as hoped we would then have one of the strongest lines we've ever seen here.

I still covet a premium TE but if the big two are gone there are other ways to go. With the Oline pretty well set, we can take a guy like Shaheen or Hodges in a later round. Likewise with a RB, Dalvin Cook might well be there in the 2nd. Joe Mixon might be on Lichts board too. If not, I'd be ok with adding Perrine or Foreman to our RB stable.

I honestly think someone takes him in the first. People forget that in the Ray Rice situation, he was near the end of his career. It was much easier to take a moral stand against him when it was questionable if he'd really help your team. Lest we forget that Michael Vick played in the NFL again, and once the protests died down, well, they died down.

If Jerry had any need whatsoever for a back, I think he'd be the one to do it. Otherwise, Seattle - the team that drafted Frank Clark - is a strong possibility.

If we traded down to the mid to late 20's I would consider Mixon there. I wouldn't be surprised if that is exactly what Licht is attempting with the "trade down" reports.

As much as I love me some oline guys I gotta say I'm not a huge fan of Ramzcyk. He just doesn't have enough ass in the stuff I've watched on him. I really think he needs to be in a ZBS to maximize his athleticism and stay away from a power scheme that will showcase his aforementioned lack of ass.

If he is trading down, I think he is more likely after Adoree Jackson or Engram or Godwin.

I know right? Who would want a long safety with length and speed, when you could have the fabulous Budda struggling to bring down Julio after a 55 yard pass
