I really thought Cleveland would be good, but through 1.5 weeks their offense is just really sloppy.

Not really a good showcase for MNF. I get the young QB duel thing they were going for but the Jets weren’t going to be good.

And I’m convinced Baker can’t actually read a defense. Just looks around for the kinda open guy and chunk it as hard as possible. Hard to win in the league playing that way but it can be fun to watch.

I think you're right. There was 1 play they showed where every player was open but they guy he threw to.

That can be developed...maybe.

Normally I wouldn't be so sensitive, but this halftime show is garbage.

Cleveland internet fans are grumbling a bit about the offense. They report the Browns offense clicked best last year when they established the run and scripted timing passes in the short/intermediate to reign Baker in. Then they give Baker some downfield options. They think Monken’s hands are all over this deep shot attack we’ve been seeing.

Minkah Fitzpatrick to Pittsburgh for their 2020 1st round pick. With Ben out it could be a very high 1st. Miami now has 3 1st round picks and 2 2nd round picks in next years draft.

Stupid on Pittsburgh’s part. They need that 1st to use on a QB especially if Ben has to retire.

Edit: Plus, as you said, their pick will likely be a high pick makes this even dumber.

Sounds like the Giants "may" start Daniel Jones this upcoming week. Schurmur non-committal on Manning. Hope we get Manning. I actually think Jones is legit, although if they are still missing all these wide receivers, then not much Jones may be able to do.

To be fair, it's not really up to Shurmer. It's up to Mara lol. Hell, the way Giants fans are talking, Mara is the reason that Eli has started at all this season.

And they know it will be a high pick. It's not like they made the trade and then Ben got hurt and declared gone.

Unless they think Mason Rudolph can come in and they don't miss a beat, this is nuts.

As to Miami, they must really, really want Tua and will accept no substitutes. I just don't get why they would trade for Rosen when they plan on tanking this yard for the #1 overall. Could they really be planning to build around Rosen and trade the Tua pick for a fortune, giving them a truly stupid amount of picks?

The big takeaway here is that they're 100% in on Rudolph.

Caleb Benenoch punches his HOF ticket

Former #Bucs OT Caleb Benenoch is signing with the #Patriots today, source said. He had 9 teams request to work him out, but wanted to play for OL coach Dante Scarnecchia and now gets his wish.

Yup.

I believe that BigBen will be back as the starting QB week 1 of 2020 for the Steelers. I also believe that the 1st round pick the Steelers just gave up in 2020 for Minkah will be lower than 11th overall (which is where Minkah was drafted). Plus the Steelers are getting him cheaper (salary wise) than has they drafted him since the Dolphins already paid his signing bonus.

Such a dearth of talent on the Oline across the league.

L4/L5/S1 all wrecked, torn AC joint and pectoral on my left side and old. I am suiting back up.

Just someone please help me get out of my 3 point stance once I make it down to it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, a lot of people connected Baker starting to their success, but the winning also coincided with Nick Chubb getting run as the featured back.

During their wins last season, starting when Baker came in... Chubb had: 20, 28, 13, 20, and 19 carries. In their losses, he had 3, 18, 18, 22*, 9, 9.

*This was against KC who scored at will.

Eli Manning officially benched.

We usher in the dawn of the Jones era. We’ll probably give Giants fans great hope. But I hope we make him look like a bust

Crap. Now the Giants actually have a shot this Sunday.

Yes, I’ve said it before....I think Jones is going to be really good in the pros. NYG took him 6 for a reason.

What does that mean exactly? Every team takes the players they take for a reason. And that reason is they think that player will be very good. It doesn't make them immune to poor play or becoming a bust
