So, the whole team has had 2 weeks "off"

Postby IronDog » Wed Oct 10, 2018 3:21 pm

Does this mean the entire personnel is now sporting this infamous rust we keep hearing about?

No, apparently rust doesn't set in until 3 weeks off.

I really didnt expect them to win all their games so now that they have been boy slapped a bunch, maybe they can put it all together on defense. Then all we need is for Winston to keep the offense going strong.

I saw an article....funny as it is to even think about after 5 weeks...that should the season end now, we'd be in the playoffs. The division is wide open. Carolina got extremely lucky with that amazing Gano kick. Open air, I'd say he misses that 9 out of 10 times. I was happy for him on a personal level but hated it was Carolina.

I was so pissed they won that game.

NO looks like the best team in the division but the rest of their schedule is pretty brutal. Next 4 games @BAL @MIN vLAR @CIN. Round it out with Dallas, Philly, Pittsburgh and 4 divisional games. Rough.

We're a quarter of the way through the year. Vry happy the team is running stories about playoff scenarios if the season ended today.

Lets take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp breath as fans. I have come back from my bye week as well, while I don't feel rusty, I have optimism. I am giving the defense a new opportunity to not let me down, I am giving Winston 2 strikes instead of 1. Also considering the NFC east, and West are dumpster fires we still have a shot at the Division and the Wild Card. With that said Lets play Balll!!!!!!!!!!

Bro. I'm sorry, but this is just so damn wrong. That kick was not a fluke

Gano has 86.5% FG accuracy over the 7 years with Carolina
15 for 24 from 50+ yards (62.5%)

The 63 yarder from the other day didn't just squeak in and bounce off the bottom cross bar. Dude had it by at least 5 yards:

It was a great freakin kick by a great freakin kicker. It wasn't a lucky kick.

Might not hurt to have a warm-up game today.

That's pretty generous... I'd say more like about 10 seasons off
