***OFFICIAL Alex Spanos Tribute Thread***

Postby PlinkoBuccaneer » Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:40 am

Hi, Bucs fans. San Diego and Los Angeles Chargers owner Alexander Gus Spanos this morning at 95 years old. He and the Spanos family tried, and unsuccessfully through a voting referendum, to keep the Chargers in San Diego. RIP Alex.

More like, his sons wanted the Chargers out of there at all costs...

Now look at them, no fan base, a large percent of the SD hates them now, every "Home Game" it's all covered with the colors of the other team.. what a mess..

The Raiders should've gone to LA and the Chargers to Vegas in order for them to have a new fan base..

60 yrs in SD and they leave just like that... it really sucks...

I worked at company in Alta Vista, VA with another Spanos relative. Gary Spanos. I’ve forgotten his actual relationship with the Charger Spanos now. It’s been over 11 years since I worked with him. Nephew? Cousin maybe?

Gary Spanos? Not sure. Dean was my cousin's father in law.
