The Current:

Postby Bootz2004 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:14 pm

Anyone else watch this before? I stumbled on this looking thru Youtube. It seems it's a mini version of Hardknocks done by the team without any of the fluff and storylines. They have 2 episodes so far. Enjoy.

Episode 1

The Panthers did something similar last year. I would love if this continues through the season.

Gerald and those food trucks.

Also I think it's obvious Jameis saw that flag thrown.

Yeah, I had no doubt he saw it. He said so after the game, too, but also said he knew he'd get yelled at in film and needs to cut those throws down. I took that to mean he didn't see the penalty, just saw the flag and gambled it was on the D.

The location (beyond the LOS, little downfield) and timing (mid play) of the flag makes a defensive penalty more likely than offensive. It was a good guess by Winston.

LMAO at the reaches here.

Never has anyone gotten more undeserved benefit of the doubt, from sexual harassment to magical flag-diagnosing, than Jameis Winston. Stop beclowning yourselves. There is nothing this guy does that you fanbois won't make excuses for. Y'all would walk in on Jameis ****ing your wife's ass and say, "he must have slipped".

So, I’m laying in bed with my lady and I’m on the iPad... click on the fourth video and there’s two minutes of cheerleaders. She gave me this look like wtf? I kept hoping that part would be over soon.

Mrs PM got very interested in WTF i was watching when she heard and saw cheerleaders. I just said “Oh cool you want to watch with me?” *rewind and start conversation about cheerleaders* lol. She was a cheerleader in college so I can usually get away with allowing her to “educate” me on the finer points of cheer as I enjoy.

Mildly random question, but why is Djax #11 on game day, but wears the #1 at practice? Players generally wear there regular Jersey # on there practice jerseys too, so I'm just a little curious about that.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson may be wearing No. 11 when he suits up for the Bucs on Sundays this fall, but he’s fully committed to wearing No. 1 during practices this season

Jackson said that No. 1 is meaningful to him which is why he’d prefer to gear up with that number during practices this season since he can’t for games. It’s the number he wore in high school as well as his time at the University of California and obviously the number that was called for every accomplishment and milestone in his early career which is why he has an emotional attachment to the number and its significance.

“I had a thing about number one since I’ve been in Pop Warner,” Jackson said. “I’ve always wanted to wear number one. I kind of went to high school wearing number one and when I got to college, I was going through a little campaign. I was up for the Heisman watch and they came up with, ‘the one to watch.’ So, I kind of always ran with ‘the one to watch’ and being unique, one on one, and king of trying to keep that trend going.”

Jackson added that it reminds him of his days before his time in the league and all the incredible memories he made wearing that number, which explains why he is so eager to continue wearing it throughout practices this fall.

“I’ll do it throughout the season, just practice though” Jackson emphasized. “It kind of keeps my youth, kind of keeps me thinking something about when I was younger and I was able to rock that [number] one and just really keep the memories and hopefully continue to still play like I’m young.”
