And I don't have a problem with the pick, BTW, so get off that narrative too

No one is on that narrative you shmuck. You just asked a stupid question and then raged when people gave you the obvious answer. We’ll start trying to break things down real nice and easy for you from now on, ok Puddin?

You don't see how your poor question started all of this?

If you wanted to know what was to like about Stewart just ask, which had already been answered by Bootz. Instead you ask why Stewart before Davis?

It sounded like you were either stupid or trying to be an ass. Turned out to be both.

I'll try and get this back on track again. He's good at the press, better than the puss#$@ we've had lately. We have big WRs in our division. Press them, frustrate them, by the time they break free Vea, McCoy, and JPP are playing Uno in the backfield.

An actual opinion. Thank you, that was quite refreshing.

He was definitely on my long corner Day 2 radar. And agree, he's an outside CB, not sure how it plays out, but I think Hargreaves will be told to focus on being a top flight NB.

I think Vh3 can play outside just fine with the right DL. With that said we now have this kid and a very talented Ryan Smith developing to replace Grimes. I'm fine with that. Trust the process.

Listening to Koetters presser... it's pretty clear that Davis and Oliver were identified as long corners to add. We essentially traded down and let the choice between the two be made for us.

It's an interesting debate, Davis or Oliver. On one hand you have Oliver who's the much more polished mirror cover guys in the draft... but is soft as a kitten. On the other hand you have Davis who's one of the more physical CBs you'll see... but currently would be a PI machine in the NFL.

For week 1 I'd take Oliver... but you can't teach toughness, and you can teach technique.

Curious to see how it plays out.

I guess that's fair. But we could've walked away with Guice, Oliver, and Key in the second and we didn't. That hurts. I just hope OBP knows something I don't.

Guice I'm convinced had major red flags. Ronald Jones has top flight character. I can get it. That said, I'd have gone James, J Jackson, Guice, Carter.

One of my favorite corners in the draft. He has everything he needs to be an excellent NFL corner in any scheme. And he's a natural long boundary corner, which was literally our biggest need on the roster. I fully expect him starting opposite Grimes come September.

The way Mayock made it sound, I'm surprised Guice got drafted high at all. "Another investigation that could really embarrass the kid and the team that drafts him"

This dude looks like he has no fear attacking the ball. While I think we would all prefer a good shut down corner he looks like he has great awareness and solid open field tackling abilities.

I like him too, definite starting upside, but I don't see him as plug and play. He needs alot of refinement in his technique, dude is super grabby right now and will be flagged like crazy going against veteran NFL receivers. If we wanted plug and play we should have drafted Oliver when we had the chance.

Projected higher by who? The Internet, TV Networks and draft analysts or NFL teams? Okay yea.

The sooner fans realize this fact the better: What the media thinks of players doesn't equate to gospel truth. Teams have 32 unique processes of player evaluation and grading that take into account more than game tape.

Robinson stays as the special teams ace. Will probably be voted a ST captain this year.

Not with Mike Smith as DC. He's never been a press man guy. I don't think we have the guys to play that type of defense consistently.

Grimes will do what Grimes does, and that doesn't include alot of BnR. Davis has that type of game, but he's way too handsy right now.

The draft picks and current personnel on the roster are a very good fit for press man. And with a ton of offenses in the league scheming for quick hitters within 5-10 yards of the LoS, becoming a great press man team makes sense.
