Mayocks take on him was pretty accurate, not the best at finding the ball, but he's big, physical, fast and can cover wrs. I think he's a great pick.

Needed a CB with length and he's good value.

Targeted our needs well this round.

Guess it's crayon and construction paper time:

The obvious -- Davis was projected higher. What did we see in the Stewart kid to pick him higher?

I really like Carlton Davis. Hez a very, very talented corner. I think he challenges for important snaps early. I don't know if he's a nickle. I could easily see him beating out VH3

I get what you're saying. I'm actually a little lost on what we saw in Stewart. I hope we sign a safety somehow.

Justin Reid was projected as a 1st round pick, so was Guice. That doesn't mean anything.

Davis was not projected higher by the Bucs. It’s pretty simple, fella.

So, to recap, none of you smartasses have any idea what we saw in him to pick him first. Thanks for clarifying. Maybe someone who has actual thoughts on the matter will chime in.

We don't know exactly what the bucs saw in him, but from what's being reported and people have mentioned, he's versitile and can play multiple positions. I don't know why this is so confusing to you. Is it because you've never heard of him? Or did you prefer someone else? No one wanted Justin Evans, few wanted Kwon, etc. Let's wait and see.

LOL. Clown

Ask a simple question - "what do people think we saw that got him picked before a consensus higher pick?"
Smartasses respond "we liked him better herp derp"
Again, Why did we like him better, any ideas? "no but you're an idiot for asking!"

Too bad we can't just talk football here

Go back and re-read. There's a reason everyone is against you. You asked why Stewart over Davis. Why not? Stewart was ranked the better player by the Bucs, seemed like common sense, but you kept pushing.

Davis was still there when we picked again, even after trading back. Stewart may not have been. We obvuously value his versility and skill set.

You are coming off as an ass here.

You said Davis was projected higher. The Bucs clearly didn’t have him higher. None of us work for the Bucs. We can’t tell you why. What are you looking for?

I was reading a grade on him that he's a really good press corner. We got Michael Thomas, Funchess, Jones, and Ridley in our division. His physical nature might be the key here, Sherman-like (but smaller) shall I say?
