Why the **** is a geriatric paraplegic working field access security at the Super Bowl?

Maybe because they didn't expect anyone who was not authorized to go through that entrance to be an a hole and push her out of the way.

I'm sure he can say he was running from hearing gun shots and that he's being singled out because of his skin color.

hopefully there isn't a video showing otherwise.

btw - why wasn't his false recount of that event made into a bigger example of crying wolk?

Doesn't fit the narrative that the news is pushing. Why was the Parkland school shooting on TV everywhere for a week but we barely hear about the Maryland shooting that was stopped?

I'll see myself down to OT...

Likely directing traffic and checking credentials. I see old people working concerts and Bucs games all the time. Obviously not all the security is geriatric, but they normally give the old folks the easier and more stationary posts I described.

I do see your question asked in alot of the comments. It seems like a deflection to me b/c what does it matter regarding his actions? Would his actions be less egregious had the security person been 50yrs old?

I'm not deflecting. I think Bennett's a pompous douche and fully believe he's an ***hole who did this. However, he's not a Buc and no kin of mine so I couldn't care less what happens to him.

I raised the question because it seems crazy to me to have a geriatric paraplegic person working field access security(you know the place that people actually do rush and physically assault security guards to get to ALL THE TIME) at a giant international event like the Super Bowl. You wanna give her an easy gig, cool, have her directing people to their seats or helping lost guests. Don't place her as a physical access gatekeeper.

What is the age limit? Would it be okay if it was a 22 year old woman?

Or maybe a grown man can act like a grown man.

Other than Bennett she did her job without a problem, ..

It’s worse with elderly because they are less able to protect themselves Nd more likely to get injured and more severely injured than someone younger. That should be obvious. Bennnet is a POS, we already knew that, don’t understand how people have issue seeing that. They must be fans making excuses.

You agree old people have the right to work, correct? (sit down MB)

Nobody expects an old lady in a wheel chair to prevent people from running onto the field. So they have able-bodied people working security also. Most of the security personnel are not old people. But some are. I just don't see why it's relevant to Bennett in this case is all.

Here are some additional details including brief video of a presser from the Houston PD describing the incident.

So he apparently pushed multiple people, broke through locked doors, said **** you to a cop, and then told security that they should know who he is and that he could own that motherfucker. Not sure what that last part means.

Anyways, this guy is a POS. I'll leave it at that...

He is who he is. It's been obvious for some time now and it is a big reason why I said I didn't want him. Well, that and him being old. Makes me think Greg Schiano actually knew what he was doing when he sent this clown packing.

Except it didn't happen that way.
Schiano himself said he really wanted Bennett to stay. Bennett hated Schiano and refused to play here. He even slagged off Schiano in the press after he left to Seattle.

Someone here didn't want to pay him. As I recall, we didn't even offer him a contract. I have slept since then, so my memory could be foggy.

According to Bennett it was the Glazers who didn't want him back.

That's because they didn't want the immature chest bumping, doing shots with your players mentality Raheem brought.

And Raheem was brought in because of the DB coordinator success of Mike Tomlin.

Tomlin was successful because Herm Edwards was successful.

Because Herm Edwards was successful some guy named Chad Pennington had an NFL career.

If Chad Pennington didn't have a career, Vinny Testaverde would've remained the starter for the Jets therefore altering his career path.

If Testaverde's career path had been altered he wouldn't have defeated the Bucs in 2008 thus putting an end to Jon Gruden's career as a Buc.

Therefore Raheem never would have been hired and this vicious circle never would've began.

If the physique of the security guard is factoring into your decision making process, you're already wrong, and you should turn around or wait for an adult to escort you.

The Master 4D Chess Player Licht tried to trade for Bennett. He just failed. That probably shouldn't be lost in this. Mr. Magoo usually gets saved by dumb luck before the car crashes, but that doesn't make him a good driver.

Doesn't fit the narrative that the news is pushing. Why was the Parkland school shooting on TV everywhere for a week but we barely hear about the Maryland shooting that was stopped?

I'll see myself down to OT...

You’re genuinely unsure why an incident where someone killed 17 people is getting more news coverage than an incident where someone killed one person? But yknow, other people and their agendas eh..

I missed the part where he said "more coverage". I read that as one story was everywhere while a similar incident was pretty much dismissed because it didn't check the boxes of a specific agenda.

I haven't been a Licht fan, but I think he nailed it with Curry and JPP. The Jensen move is the one that scares me.
