What's a good site with NFL rumours, rumours don't need to be credible, I just want some dirty nasty junk I can shoot into my veins.

Lots of possibilities so don't paint yourself into a corner just yet.

Allen would be a logical candidate for the Baker role. Big, strong, wide-bodied. Unlike Baker, experienced playing that spot in a 4-3. Sure. Would rather have Poe.

Breaking: Former Vikings QB Case Keenum intends to sign with the Denver Broncos, sources tell Adam Schefter.\

IMO Denver will probably either draft Nelson or trade #5 pick to Buffalo for #12 pick ( they need a QB right?)

Adam Schefter

Former Panthers’ G Andrew Norwell intends to sign with the Jaguars on a 5-year deal for $66.5 million, including $30M fully guaranteed, source tells ESPN. He is going to become NFL’s highest paid guard - $13.3 million average.

It would make quite a statement to win a superbowl with the best bargain basement offensive line.

Sammy Watkins for 16 mil a year

Allen Robinson for 14 mil a year

Makes Evans deal seem like a bargain compared to these free agent WRs

Evans got the golden ticket all players want. Guaranteed money. Watkins and Robinson's combined guaranteed money is the same as Evans got alone. $55mil. Average salary is irrelevant because no contract has the same salary year to year.

True. I’m sure some of these numbers include incentives but just crazy to see how free agency inflates average players value. Supply vs demand at its finest

Yea it's crazy. Players really cash in during FA. That's why its so critical to draft and develop your guys so you don't have to overpay someone that's not wanted by their original team.

Rapapport -

The #Saints and QB Drew Brees have struck a 2-year deal worth $50M, sources tell me and @SlaterNFL. He gets $27M guaranteed. He’s back and everyone can breathe.

It's "Up to 10 million". There's probably a bunch of incentives that he won't reach.

PewterReport.com has learned Grimes base salary for 2018 begins at $7 million, and with high play time, it can reach $8.5 million. In order to reach the $10 million figure Grimes will have to make the Pro Bowl, the Bucs will need to reach the playoffs, and Grimes will need to collect four interceptions.

PLAYOFFS? PLAYOFFS?!

That tells me 2 things.
1 - They don't think Barber can be THE guy but are at least willing to give him a chance to compete with...
2 - ...a RB they hope to draft.

A base salary of $7m doesn't even land Grimes in the top 20 CB salaries.

If he hits his playtime incentives $8.5m is a bargain imo.

Tells me 1 thing.

1 - Barber is an exclusive rights free agent and cannot negociate or sign with another team so we signed him to the same deal all exclusive rights FAs get.

That would be kind of shitty. Thomas has waited his whole career for the Browns to be at least semi decent.

I’m glad we stayed away from Norwell with the price tag he got. He’s a good player but waaay too much money to be paying a guard.
