Good signing, but what are they going to do for the other 10 games?

This is great news for the Bucs draft. Cousins stays away from a team in the top 6.

Keenum is bandaid on a short term deal in Denver means they could go QB also.

Bills will likely try to continue moving up the board with the draft capital they have to get inside the top 5 for a QB (hopefully trade w/ the Colts at 3).

Bucs need 4 QBs to go top 6. That would ensure one of Chubb, Nelson, Barkley falls to 7.

I can see it happening...

This. Unless buffalo wants to risk losing on their guy the colts make a ton of sense to trade back.

Could go down
1) Cle-Darnold
2) NYG-Rosen
3) Buf (Indy) Allen
4) Cle-Barkley
5) Denver-Mayfield
6) NYJ (hopefully not Chubb)

I could see Denver taking Minkah and letting it ride with Keenum in yhis scenario.

Jets would take Mayfield leaving Chubb to us.

azcardinals and agent for @Mathieu_Era making progress on a contract restructure, per source. Would lower his cap number of $14.1 million this year.

This has been one of the weaker FA years in a long time. Many players getting overpaid. A lot of teams are sitting out. Not a lot of action across the league.

Yup...

As I've said, the cap is too high...if you are good, chances are you'll just be re-signed by your current team...DLaw, Ziggy etc...

That coupled with the rookie salary cap and teams don't have to make tough decisions anymore...

Right? I feel like it's been pretty active considering the tampering period just started. I think people just get impatient with these things because they remembered what happened in years past and not that it took a long time.

Stop hitting F5 and go outside for a while.

Obviously. Not sure how that statement backs up your “teams are sitting out” “not much activity” claims. There’s been a ton of activity and it hasn’t officially started yet. And how would you know what teams are “sitting out”? Are you monitoring their phone lines to see what agents they are talking to?

Ian Wharton @NFLFilmStudy
We'll see movement within the CB market shortly. Once the Trumaine deal is announced, there should be a domino-effect. I was told he has 4 "very strong" offers and will flesh them out soon.

I would like to sign a Safety like Vacarro. But I didn't expect the Bucs would be active in FA, especially early. It's fools gold 90% of the time.

For every Calias Campbell there are 10 Chris Bakers.

Wilkerson is being linked to the Redskins. He is giving me a Baker type vibe with his bad play/attitude last year so let the Skins overpay for him.

We gotta get someone at DE though

Licht has learned that lesson I think. Maybe we sign a few guys here and there after that 1st wave is gone but for the most part we've done a good job building our nucleus via the draft.

Beware of the 4th or 5th attempt to make "Packers TE" a thing in fantasy football. It has never worked out.

Excellent point here. Aaron Rodgers doesn't throw over the middle much. He likes getting the ball outsideof the numbers.
