It’s ****ing stupid how this show airs on such a delay. The entire thing is spoiled by espn and bleacher report updates on my phone before it even airs.

The last MVP to win a Super Bowl was Kurt Warner in 1999

Doug Pederson should have won the coach of the year award

I'm fine with either one. I also would have been fine with Mike Zimmer. Not a lot of coaches get to the NFCCG with their 3rd string quarterback.

I think how well the Eagles have played without him coupled with his injury (obviously) prevented that from happening. He still won a few awards.

Actually, I would have also. He probably wins it if he doesn't get hurt.

I think McVay deserved it. Turned the league's worst offense into the league's best in one season. He dethroned the Seahawks' dominance in the NFC West with a franchise that hadn't had a winning season since 2003. The job he did as a first year coach was remarkable. Keep in mind, that this is a regular season award. Pederson's excellence in the postseason was rewarded with a Lombardi trophy, but I think McVay deserved this particular trophy for the job he did with that team in the regular season.

I think he would have won it, too. As chance would have it, he was instead clearly proven NOT to be the MVP to his team's success.

Other than the fact it's a cliche, there isn't much argument that Brady isn't the MVP of the regular season.

Agree with this, and I would put Zimmer ahead of Pederson (for the regular season), as well.

The NFL needs to be creative with their awards...all the awards look alike.

Most awards do (see: the Oscars, Grammys, the Emmys, the MTV Moon Man, the ESPYs). I get what you're saying, though; you want a signature award like "the Heisman."

Maybe Vince McMahon will take notice.

I love this picture. McVay and Gurley are holding theirs all gingerly like they don't want to break it while Donald is double fisting gripping his like somebody is gonna try to take it.
