I think it's not too bad. I know you can't judge by last year because every year there's surprises. That said, those two divisions don't scare me.The SF game is home , so atleast they do the traveling. Chi doesn't scare me. Our division is always where it starts and ends.If we go 3-3 vs NFC South or maybe 4-2 , the season will be a success. We go 1-5? Chances are another long season.

It should be a good year for me, I hope they don't **** it up (again). I'll be heading to Tampa with group of buddies for the Eagles game (yes, they'll all be in green). I hope to take my son to the Giants game (actual schedule permitting), and l'll also make a weekend out of the Baltimore game (most likely with my gf).

If the Giants game isn't ideal for my son, I may take him to Bmore and the lady to North Jersey.

I'd like to fit another game in, but I'll need to see some improvement before commitng even more $$.

The memories are great, but god damn they'd be better with some Ws to eat.

You mean crowd-wise? Or schedule-wise? If it's crowd, you'll be fine either way. I probably wouldn't take my son to Jets -Bucs (yet), but if the dates line up, I plan on taking him to the Giants game. And Baltimore will be out backup.

I meant schedule wise, but that's very good to know. I was wondering about the crowd bc my son will only be 8. Thanks for the heads up. His only NFL game was the preseason game against the Eagles last year. We had seats along the Bucs tunnel, and he still brings up the "angry rude guy telling those things behind us" haha VJ gave him his glove. Spoiled brat.

I went to the Bucs-Jets game a couple of years ago (thanks for ruining that one, Lavonte!) and the crowd was pretty tame... although I was in the club level.

I believe it was the first regular season game at the new stadium, and I was shocked at how easy it was to get in and out. I stayed until the very end (thanks, again, Lavonte!) and I zipped out of the lot in no time at all.

Just wondering, why do people act surprised when our opponents are "announced"? 14 of the 16 games are already set in stone. The division of the other 2 games are already determined too.

It's the same as complaining our schedule is so tough. We play the same schedule as the other 3 teams in our division with the exception of those 2 games. And those 2 games are based on what place we finished.

Yup, it's just a matter of where teams finish the year prior in their respective NFC division that determines the last 2 opponents. For 2018, since the NFC East rotates onto our schedule and we finished 4th in our own division we get the Bears (4th in the NFCN) and 49ers (who finished 4th in the NFCW). But we know 14/16 of our home and away opponents every single year for the foreseeable future until there is expansion or realignment.

Home and Away rotate to ensure every NFL team visits every NFL city atleast once every 8 years (games played in London/Mexico can mess that up though as it did with the Patriots years ago where the Bucs "home game" vs the Pats was in London)

2018
NFC South (Saints, Panthers, Falcons, @Saints, @Panthers, @Falcons)
NFC East (Eagles, Redskins, @Cowboys, @Giants)
AFC North (Steelers, Browns, @Bengals, @Ravens)
49ers, @Bears

2019
NFC South (Saints, Panthers, Falcons, @Saints, @Panthers, @Falcons)
NFC West (Cardinals, 49ers, @Seahawks, @Rams)
AFC South (Colts, Texans, @Jaguars, @Titans)

2020
NFC South (Saints, Panthers, Falcons, @Saints, @Panthers, @Falcons)
NFC North (Vikings, Packers, @Lions, @Bears)
AFC West (Chiefs, Chargers, @Raiders, @Broncos)

2021
NFC South (Saints, Panthers, Falcons, @Saints, @Panthers, @Falcons)
NFC East (Cowboys, Giants, @Eagles, @Redskins)
AFC East (Dolphins, Bills, @Patriots, @Jets)

Can't speak for everyone, but I am not surprised. I am actually looking forward to 2019's schedule...although I am sure that change before it get's here

Home: Arizona, San Fran, Houston, and Indy/Away: Rams, Seattle, Jacksonville, and Tennessee

For me, as a season ticket holder, I always look at the fan bases coming to RayJay as much as how likely are we to win the games.

Bootz should be happy that his 49ers are coming to RayJay these next 2 seasons.

I'm planning to go to Vegas in 2020 for the Bucs-Raiders game!!!

Yea I'll definitely be there to see San Fran. I'd also try to make it to Vegas for a Raiders game.

Welp...Bucs have the 4th toughest schedule for 2018

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2018 ... hest-ride/

1 Green Bay Packers 138-118 .539

T-2 Detroit Lions 137-119 .535

T-2 New Orleans Saints 137-119 .535

4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 136-120 .531

The Packers might have the most difficult schedule, but the award for the most stacked schedule probably goes to the Buccaneers, Ravens or Saints. All three of those teams will be playing a total of eight games against teams that made the playoffs in 2017. That means HALF THEIR SCHEDULE is against playoff teams.

Probably something that is only interesting to me:

12 of the 13 easiest schedules reside in the AFC....

When you're the whipping boy of your division, and all 3 division opponents made the playoffs, it only makes sense the numbers shake out this way.

Being a midwestern Bucs fan sucks. My closest games the next three years are Chicago in 2018 (10+ hours away), either at Chicago, Minnesota, or Green Bay in 2019, At Denver in 2020 (8 or so hours), and again at Chicago, Minnesota, or Green Bay in 2021.

Once every eight years we get the Chiefs in KC. That's always fun. Been to the last two of those.

Considering the last decade, I'd probably take 10 years in Hawaii over getting to see the Bucs in person.

Also, I feel like football Sundays in Hawaii must be amazing. Two games at the Crack of dawn. Day drinking. Get a good buzz in, then a more than full night's sleep to be ready for Monday.

They are. Not sure I'd want to do it for 10 years. But Football Sundays in Hawaii are certainly a unique experience. Bars open super early. Good times.

Boo hoo you two had to endure watching them on TV while living in paradise. I was in Alaska for a couple seasons, including the Super Bowl season.

I'd bet all three beat being stuck in Nebraska, though. Sorry, MJW.

I live 1 mile from the current Super Bowl Champs home stadium, and I choose to continue to travel 1000 miles to see the the Bucs at Ray Jay yearly, travel to their road games within a few hours of my home, continue to spend my money on all of that plus countless merchandise for my family and me, and also spend my time on this message board (and every other version over the last couple decades). I do all this because I'm on the "bandwagon" and want the street cred.

PS I am sorry that you were bullied to the point of creating this cute little internet persona of yours. I hope that you find peace and counseling before it causes you to snap in a violent outburst or you end up like Jonathan Martin. That is the only logical conclusion for your shtick, if it was just for entertainment you wouldn't try so painfully hard. Either way it is kinda sad. Good luck.
