Gruden should fit right in with a organization who's owner at a press conference in 2008 was still using the old school overhead projector instead of power point.

Digging into the stuff Gruden says is a lot like digging into the stuff Trump says. He says a lot of stuff, he means about half of it, and maybe half of that will end up mattering to how he does business.

The Raiders got a great coach. They're paying for him, to be certain. But there's no point in running the guy down.

Buuu......bbuu....buut Mr Gruden would never leave the press box to coach again!!! Top dollar and a cushy job? Never!

Or as I said all along he wasn't seriously pursued by anyone after they saw the implosion he left here. That's what took so long.

Ran off the best GM in the history of the organization and still searching for our first playoff win a decade and a half later.

Get ready Oakland, you're about to get a lot OLDER.

Or, it's because he saw the writing on the wall at ESPN and didnt like the odds of Monday Might Football surviving there, so he took the fat payday to get back in the game with a loaded team

Now, so far you're right about Gruden in Oakland. Dude still loves his geriatric squad.

He got his man.

I don't generally give enough of a crap to read about a sports team owner, but this inspired me to see just who this character is. Anyway, here's an ESPN story about him (from 2014 when he was still trying to get the Raiders to LA) that I found to actually be a pretty good read and it somewhat explains the damned haircut. Oh! And who knew he and Cliff Branch we best buds? Talk about an odd couple.
