He must be real popular at The Villages. They don't play NFL games on the TVs at the Legion post there.

The NFL announces allegations against #Panthers owner Jerry Richardson have been substantiated and he's being fined $2.75 million to support organizations addressing race and gender-based issues and fund league-wide workplace training.

Oh I wish so bad it would've been 2 games for Winston instead of 3, can't believe my first time in Tampa watching the Bucs will be with Fitz starting against the Steelers..
FML...

On that note, I've had a feeling we will be trading for Mike to come home..
Not necessarily for or against, just a feeling.

EXACTLY..
(If I had to hazard a guess maybe it would be that Mike knows the offense, Ryan Griffen has yet to impress and Fitz is an elderly chap.. If Mike had the protection of a decent O-Line (which we may have this year) I would understand the move to drop Griffen and bring Mike back.)

Griffin has more time in this offense than Griffin and he hasn't impressed since 2013. What he's getting paid outweighs any type of production he'd offer.

aka can't get signed for more than league minimum and has made too much to play for that amount.
Konatown wrote:So Le’Veon Bell and the Steelers haven’t come to an agreement on an extension. He will play this year on the franchise tag. His agent is saying it will be his last as a Steeler.
Steelers reportedly offered a 5 year 70 million deal. Apparently the disagreement came from the guaranteed money/years. Steelers and most teams typically don’t give more than 2/3 years worth of guaranteed money. And I gotta side with the club on this one. If Bell wants 4+ years guaranteed at his current or more salary he’s not worth it. No way the production will keep throughout his contract. Steelers will get him in his prime years and receive a nice comp pick.
Konatown wrote:You bring up good points. If he’s wanting more than 15 per year and a fully guaranteed contract do you bite? Seems Ben wants to play a few more years (at least for now).

I'd rather have him for the next 4 years as opposed to just the next 1. He is the top RB and skills position player in the league and is just 26. Without him that is an entirely different Steelers offense. And considering this is probably Ben's last season as well(or it isn't) I'd roll the dice on building my offense around Le'veon Bell for the next 4 years.
