Gotta disagree strongly. Looking at that particular set of pics, yeah everything looks old, but that has more to do with the quality/style of the pics than reality. San Fran is running the same uni shown there and nobody claims they're dated. The giant clip art hydrocephalic skull on the current helmets is also a massive downgrade, I don't get the fetish people have with it.

I like San Fran’s uniforms. They don’t look dated at all imo. Not all uniform design age the same. Some designs last while others (like ours) don’t age that well.

I think you’re in the minority with the dislike for the larger decal. It just looks much better and more modern to boot.

I like the new decals. I just think the number font is terrible. I do wish they would wear the red tops with white bottoms like they did against Cincy in the preseason that was a great look imo.

I liked our championship uniforms as well. Those with the new helmet would go nicely.

San Fran doesn't wear those anymore.

I prefer the creamsicles.

The unis I liked were the red jerseys with pewter pants, and pewter helmet with the red pirate flag. I wish we could find a simple update on that. The new styles are too busy, the classic jerseys in any sport are simple.

We seem to only wear whites nowadays though due to the heat.

When can we kill the myth that this helps in any way? White jerseys don’t help us any more than the color jerseys hurts our opponents.

I would like to see the Bucs wear red jerseys more also, like most fans. But it's not a myth that darker colors absorb more light lighter ones do. The type of material and how tight it fits are also variables. But if it's a hot and sunny afternoon a white shirt will be cooler than a black shirt made of the same material and size b/c the black shirt absorbs more light energy.

That said, I don't think it matters much for the NFL with how advanced the uniforms are, along with how they can cool players down on the sideline, and of course proper hydration. It certainly doesn't seem to help the Bucs in the Win-Loss column.

But coaches are looking for the slightest edge possible so that's why we see Florida teams where white at home.

The bolded is exactly my point. I get how different colors absorb light differently. The fact is this hasn’t helped Bucs consistently win at home since the last time we fielded a good team. Not only do we lose, but our team generally looks worn down by the end of games.

This leads me to conclude that what we need isn’t white jerseys to get an edge, but good players and coaches. I’m tired of hearing that the heat is why we can’t wear red jerseys at home. If our home record was significantly better than our away record I’d be inclined to believe it. As it stands it’s just BS.

Orange absorbs less heat than red. White helmets absorb less heat than pewter. Make it happen.

I fully expect us to try. Fitzpatrick is a 36 year old free agent and Griffin has a non guaranteed salary. Glennon wouldn't have a chance in hell to start but at least he knows the system.

If Glennon is ready to accept that he is destined to be a backup in this league, sure, bring him back.

Great player when he wants to be, but he damaged his potential value with how he pulled an Haynesworth after he got paid w/ the Jets.

I see Wilkerson taking a 1-yr prove deal for around $10m this offseason. I can't imagine any team will commit 2-3 guaranteed year to him at his asking price after how things went down in NY.

Me neither. But he has to come to that conclusion as well. More than likely, he will wait to see if some team is still willing to pay him to be their starter first though.

Wouldn't mind Glennon here.

He's also a possibility to head to NE. (Nick Foles to NE wouldn't surprise either)
