Seahawks have one of the most experienced and respected Oline coaches in the NFL in Tom Cable. If you're going to fire Bevell, by what rational do you retain Cable?

There's your answer lol

Said it elsewhere, but he's literally never run an offense that incorporated a mobile QB. It's always been guys like Troy Aikman and Jeff George and Phillip Rivers. I'll be interested to see if he changes up what he does, or if he expects Cam to conform.

Cam's mobility is an added element for Turner, not a hindrance. The connection is most of the QBs you listed like getting the ball downfield and have the arm to do so. Shula this past year tried to get Cam to conform to a short passing game that yielded mixed results. Cam is who he is. He won an MVP award getting chunk plays and running with the ball.

Absolutely one way things could go. We've seen this sort of thing work to everyone's benefit before, and we've seen it hurt everyone, too (like when Michael Vick was put in the WCO and everyone figured he'd be Steve Young with more speed). Turner has basically been coaching the same offense since he was working for Jimmy Johnson in Dallas in the early 90s. How much he'll evolve it, and how much Cam will conform to what Turner wants the rest of the time, will determine their success.

Panthers problem is that they don't have wide receivers....they should have kept Ginn. Olsen is all Cam got.

True, but they are going to have to add some different personnel this offseason if that's the route they wanna get back to..

Other than Olsen, they don't have any downfield chunk play threats with Ginn and KB gone..

They plan to use their franchise tag on Watkins, not Donald. I dont have any idea what the Rams are thinking but if Aaron Donald hits FA look out. The contract will be huge.

He's arguably their best player.

That's a ton of money going to DTs. I wouldn't do it at the expense of extending the other key players we have.

I'm more afraid of our own coaches f-ing us up than I am of what Norv Turner can do to us. To be frank, Norv is such a my-way-or-the-highway kind of a coach I wouldn't be surprised if it negatively affects his relationship with Cam and the team's production.

Ummm no. Why would we cut GMac? He's a great face for the team, one of the best players in this franchises history. Cutting him just to sign Donald would not go over well with the team or fans and it shouldn't. That would be a big backstabbing type move.

Holy ****, could you imagine having both McCoy and Donald on the same D line?

If he hits the FA market It's possible, however I don't think the Rams would be stupid enough to let him go..

Maybe Light looks at the cost for Donald as the same as a top end DE? Between GMac and Donald we would damn near have all the pass rush we need.
