Just read the ESPN article about Brady & Belichick. On the very slim chance that Belichick decides to leave the Patriots, I hope the Bucs are smart enough to trample over Dirk on their way to begging BB to take over.

He turns 66 in April.

Don't see him taking another HC gig. If he stays in the game, it's going to be FO.

He’d probably like living in Florida doing that job

I'm surprised this take took this long to pop up here.

funny you mention that, I remember Cowherd mentioned on his show once that Belichick hates the bad weather in Boston.

And yes, I did cite Colin Cowherd, but only because he's been on top of this Brady-Belichick strained relationship for weeks now, so he must actually be plugged into that world somehow.

Yeah, I'd be cool with him taking a role like Coughlin in Jacksonville. I mean, I know none of this going to happen, but it's nice to pretend.

I’d give him Grudens 10/100

That is the 1 coach I wouldn't mind giving 1% ownership to. Partly because he's that good, partly because I'm pretending I own the team....so what's 1%?!?!?

Yeah.... I'm good passing on Gruden.

It doesn't count towards the cap. Why does it matter what the coach makes?

The more money the coach makes, the more difficult it is to fire him if things go south. If the Raiders fire Gruden after 3 seasons, they would have to continue paying him for another seven. The Glazers have been paying coaches not to coach for years now, but with that kind of money and the amount of years on the contract make it a roadblock for sure.

At the rate the Raiders fire coaches I wouldn't be surprised if Gruden gets fired next year and re-hired 8 years after that in which he's getting paid by them twice.

I have no doubt they would have hired him if they could reach an agreement and would still hire him if things fell apart with the Raiders. I don't care about his compensation since I'm not paying him but giving him control over the roster would be a disaster, in my opinion.

Reggie McKenzie has done a great job there. I would be shocked if they're going to fire him for Gruden to take the job, nor do I think he'd stick around if they tried to neuter him.

Tick tock, Reggie.

Like I said, I don't think he's going to stick around to be neutered by Gruden. Unfortunately, that seems to be what Gruden is going to do. Whoever lands Reggie will be lucky.

But hey, remember Bucs fans, Bruce Allen coming in has NOTHING to do with Gruden running personnel. Nothing. He's not Gruden's yes man in the least. Just ask him (and let him ask Gruden what he should say when you do.)

Koetter is terrible but I'm so glad this clown isn't back with the Bucs.

I'm excited to see Koetter and Winston with a run game. Folks seem to forget how enjoyable our offence was that first year when we had balance on offence once Winston got comfortable in the NFL....
