I have a couple friends with keys to my house. There are spare car keys in the house for them to use if needed. Anytime they’re in town and I’m not they can crash at my place and use the car. It’s not terribly uncommon.

Exactly. My in-laws have keys to our house as well as our family car. I have keys to my parents house as well and some vehicles. My oldest sister has friends with keys to her house and car for when she goes out of town so they can watch her pets. This isn't uncommon at all. Especially with celebrities.
