Yeah, sure they are.

They basically said they're not going to fire anyone mid-season, which is fine. But it seems apparent the McAdoo/Jerry Reese era is going to end come January.

The good news for them is that they're THE NEW YORK GIANTS and they have a pretty good 53, and a high draft pick, so they'll be an attractive job.

I'm all for that. You can always change your mind later and fire him in the offseason. No rules against it. But when you don't support your HC and start looking sly the whole organization and the locker room picks up on it. It's all downhill from there.

I agree. No downside in saying these things in November. Although if they felt great about an assistant for the job, now would be a good time to give him a chance.

(Not that they SHOULD feel great about any of these assistants, considering how they're playing as a team)

Tyrod Taylor has been benched in favor of rookie QB Nathan Peterman for this week's game against the Chargers.

The Bills have been trying to tank all year, and just can't.

Bucs probably beat Miami who suck.

This and they just don't like Tyrod. I'm surprised he came back for such a big pay cut. I've heard they get upset he misses a lot of open receivers, he doesn't read the field, but he also doesn't make a lot of mistakes, and is dangerous with his legs. This is the 2nd regime that has given up on him in Buffalo.

I seriously don't understand the disrespect to Taylor. He obviously has limitations. He doesn't throw with much anticipation. He doesn't take many risks, even when they're needed. He's basically Alex Smith with less size and arm talent, but more athleticism.

That said, he's accounted for 60 TDs in 38 starts in Buffalo, against only 15 INTs. You can absolutely win games with him if you surround him well. He's not in the top ten problems the Bills are having right now.

I do really like Nate Peterman. He has borderline NFL arm strength, but he projects well as a WCO type. The comparison was made to Kirk Cousins, who has been very successful despite an average arm. He could become that.

He was basically THE divisive quarterback for scouts in this class. A lot of folks didn't think he had an NFL arm. Others loved absolutely everything else about him enough that they thought he could compensate for his shortcomings. I guess we'll see? But I still don't get or agree with going away from Taylor at this point unless there's something going on behind the scenes. Taylor is protecting the ball and making more plays than he gets credit for. It's not his fault the Bills couldn't stop Ryan Leaf right now.

I don't get the Tyrod Taylor disrespect. The dude moves the chains and protects the ball. If the Bills are really looking around and coming to the conclusion that he's the problem right now, I don't know what they're seeing.

All I can think is they've decided they're not going to make a run this year, and that they want to upgrade the position in the offseason, so they're seeing what they have in Peterman. With 2 first round picks, they'll be in a good spot if they decide they love one of the prospects.

I still don't think Mariota is better. Both of them are struggling.

Agreed Mariota is having issues of his own. Winston is not much better imo. It's almost a even swap at this point. Taylor has the mobile advantage.

I still don't think many logical people would trade Winston or Mariota for Taylor. Taylor could be likely had for a mid round pick. He's 28 and he's likely reached his ceiling.
