Definitely. Jameis has not turned out to be the next coming of JaMarcus Russell. Not even close. And yeah, it is a nice thread to see that despite some people's dismissal of him pre-draft, he has shown that he has the skills to be a top 15 or so QB. Some people want to use the "bust" word already, but that's not the case. So long as he cleans up his mistakes and starts playing better, he'll be absolutely fine for us.

Well of course. It's pre-draft speculation and a report based on supposed feedback from NFL personnel staff. That's the point of the article, and the point of this thread. Everyone has an opinion, sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong. I was definitely on the Jameis bandwagon pre-draft, and though he has suffered some disappointing mistakes, I'm still hoping he can over come his shortcomings and be an elite QB in the league one day. I think, unless people just hate him personally, we would all be happy if that were the case.

I was one who said Jameis would be the next Jamarcus and I said he would be in jail in a few years .. said all that, I also said I was wrong so far , Jameis has done a lot better that I thought but honestly he isn’t “there” in terms of #1 pick superstar .. as a buc fan I am rooting for him , but he is very aggravating to watch . 15to 30 Yards the dude is lights out, under 15 and over 40 not so much .go Bucs go Jameis

That article describes the stinkster to a T. He's not as bad as j-Fat because J-Fat had nothing to throw to and Winston gets bailed out by Evans. Take Evans away and he is a J-Fat clone. A couple teams have figured that out so far this year.
