Since you apparently don't understand the meaning of garbage time, let me help. It's when a team is getting blown out and the other team Is playing the clock and more interested in slowing down your scoring than preventing it. And you know who doesn't have garbage time to pad their stats? People who aren't getting their asses blown out.

So, again, not everyone gets garbage time stat padding.

You're welcome

So your saying Winstons 4th quarter heroics werent garbage stats, he just waited till the 4th quarter to throw for 200 and something yards to look like the quarterback we always wanted.

Sit down/putyour little hat on/and get in the corner.

As time is winding down, any team that is down two scores usually gets easy (how ever many) yards.

LOL you really are an idioti, aren’t you? Not every game is a blowout. So easy a caveman can understand it. Apparently not a banana slug tho

Garbage stats dont have to be just from blowouts, they come when there is little chance of the game being won. With this make it interesting NFL, it happens, can happen with any team.

Insanity.

AP ran for like 60 yards on the first drive, Palmer started like 14-14, and Winston got hurt(will probably miss Sunday). We were down 31-0 after the Cards first drive in 2nd half...but then Fitzmagic turned it on(except when he threw an int at the Bucs 1 yard line)...and we outscored the Cards 33-7 in the last 24 minutes.

The defense was beyond terrible, Koetter decided to go for 2 every TD, and now half the fan base wants to start Fitzpatrick instead of Winston.

Other than that, it was an average Bucs loss.

I love how the only difference between stats earned in an comeback and garbage stats is simply who wins. Winning or losing apparently justifies or nullifies your stats.

So the 2nd half of both the Vikings and Cards game was just the Bucs being a superior team and had nothing to do with the opposing defenses softening up since they were up 20+ points?

Just like the 2nd half the Bears game was them showing how awesome their passing game was rather than the Bucs defense playing softer w/ a 24-0 lead.

Yardage stats when you're down multiple scores in the second half should be viewed with the appropriate context. Jamies played like **** vs the Vikings, so his 300+ yds passing are pretty worthless other than fantasy football. Just like Fitz throwing for almost 300yds after being down 31-0 looks great in the box score, but to everyone that watched the game knew they were empty yards.

It's great our team has shown the fight and ability to battle back, I suppose there is some value in that and it's certainly better than rolling over and taking a 40-7 ass whooping. Perhaps that will be beneficial at some point this season. But let's not dig ourselves 20+ point deficits in the first place since you have less than a 3% chance at winning when that happens (unless your playing the Falcons :P ).
