Adrian Peterson: Back

Postby NYBF » Thu Feb 26, 2015 12:36 pm

According to multiple sources, the NFLPA's motion to vacate the suspension has been granted. He's back on the active roster, and the Vikings can now keep, release, or trade him.

I would love to see him in Dallas. It would make for an exciting storyline. I'm bored of Peterson on the Vikings.

I hate the Cowboys but it would be interesting for sure. He would destroy records if he went there.

I don't think Vikings would want to let him go. Unlike Rice, AP is a once in generation player and probably the most talented athlete to play that position. They will hold on to him until his YPC drops below average.

Nope. Even if it was just our #1 for their #11 and AP.

So you want to build around AP without having a QB?

Hows that been working out for the Vikings?

They've been Closer to the Playoffs than the Bucs....without any WR's of note either

And last I checked we have a capable QB in Glennon....which is more that the Vikes have had for 3 years

EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE has been closer to the playoffs than the Bucs. I think this is the biggest example of what your team looks like when you don't have a capable QB. The Vikings have been closer to the playoffs because of AP, true... but we are the worst team in the league because we don't have a QB.

Capable of what? Certainly you don't mean he is capable of being a starter.

I'd advise you to do the same.....

in his first 16 games {read full season} AS A STARTER.....Glennon would have ranked 11th in the league in both yards and TD's while having the 8th lowest INT's

but yeah not starter material

And I am FIRMLY on the JW bandwagon....but don't discredit Glennon

If the news broke tomorrow that the Bucs have traded down in the draft for a thirty year old RB, Licht would be the new Matt Millen.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad trade for another team. If the Raiders had the first overall pick and they made this trade I would applaud the move (because they are set at QB).

But the Bucs (with a glaring need at the most important position in football) should not. Especially with the history of this team. I find it incredible how far Bucs fans will go to make and excuse to never have a competent QB.

For some reason I consider the lure of the number one pick turning into a franchise QB a lot more enticing than falling down to 11 and getting a 30 year old running back with a **** ton of miles on his legs. I'd bet most GMs would be thinking the same.
