Seriously, "American" beer is all most countries think we have...and until our craft beer boom was mostly true. Things have changed. Many places that are traditionally thought of as "great beer countries" are stuck brewing a variation of the same 4-5 beers that they've had for a hundred years.

I do take my beer seriously as you would see if you ever drop in on the beer thread or the Friday drinking thread. If any country had better beer than America, I would have no issue backing them.

Craft brewing has been a way of life in Ontario and Quebec for as long as I can remember. We definitely have good ones up here. Next time I'm down in the states though I'll be sure to put your claims to the test!

Before you do, message me and I'll give you a list of "must try" beers.

Done. And if you ever trek your way to the land of igloos, I've got plenty to recommend as well. :drinkingcheers:

The Rams season was one of the worst ever. They don't have any interesting players.

You're fortunate that I don't drink beer at all (I'm a liquor guy) and literally have no idea how to react to that statement.

That's good news. Hopefully the viewership grows. More exposure will only help our Bucs and can help lead to some national games.

10 Random things you might have missed on Hard Knocks

2. MEANT TO BE A BUC

As Jameis Winston takes the NFL Films cameras around the modest home he grew up in back in Bessemer, Ala., the camera pans the bedroom where he slept, sometimes three people in one bed ("Toes in everybody's face"). But a shot of one wall in the room shows a prescient pirate nod to Jameis' future — a sign for "The Jolly Roger" ("warm food, cold beer") on the wall. There's also a graffiti Stewie on the wall, so we know somebody's a "Family Guy" fan.

Really?

An 0-16 team with a lot of supporters will get priority over good teams every year?

Win/lose means nothing, it's how many casuals watch Hard Knocks?

Interesting.

It's simple, when you WIN it all falls into place. That's the key, not how many goobers watch HBO for football.

It was. Also it seems like we were the 1st team in a while to actually embrace the thought and reality of being on the show. We didn't run away from the idea or shy from it and as a result it really lead to a lot of interest and anticipation for the show. I'm glad this board has also done a complete 180 as far as the show is concerned. Many saw it as a distraction or a problem but when it was announced people got on board and became excited about seeing our team. The 1st episode really put those "distraction" thoughts to rest.

Every team that has gone through a Hard Knocks preseason says they aren't a distraction. The players and coaches say you forget they're there after a couple days.

Looks like Houston averaged a little over 800K per episode so it's down from 2015.

Bootz, good point on the impact of OBP embracing Hard Knocks from the start. I believe you're correct in saying that it allowed excitement to build for fans of both the Bucs and Hard Knocks. You don't have a coach grumbling about distractions, but instead coach and players saying either it won't be a problem or they're looking forward to the exposure.

I never said that. I've been all over the world. I lived in the UK for 4+ years and Germany for 2. The craft beer we have is the best, because we have the most selections. The same couldn't be said before 2010.

This is true. And more specifically, on the West Coast, where it started. More specifically yet, in San Diego where I reside. Even more specific, in North County SD, home to the largest military base in the US. Which is how it spread back to the East Coast and the rest of the states.

You're welcome.
