As of this posting, the dates are not known. My recommendation is to register for these sites early, (as in off season), and post a couple times to get all of the required “permissions” out of the way. Some forums require a minimum number of posts before allowing member to start threads, some monitor your first couple of posts to disallow spamming.

Use a link to BucZone.com in your signature; It may help bring others here. Just as last season, these are excellent resources for discovering what the FANS of an opposing team know about their team, just as our own forum would show opinions and attitudes NOT shown in the news websites, St Pete Times forum, etc.

Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Kevin Youngblood has found a new career in servicing his country.

According to a report by Andrew Miller at the Charleston Post and Courier, Youngblood has been serving with the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division for eight years:

Youngblood, who had never been in law enforcement and knew almost nothing about the profession, went through the agency’s year-long training process and emerged on the other end as a member of the uniform division in 2009. He was immediately posted to the White House.

He credited his football career for helping him prepare for his new one:

“I definitely think it mentally prepared me for what I do today. . . Football helped me a lot with going through two-a-day minicamps, and protection work is a lot like the offensive line where we make sure our job does not get interrupted.”

Youngblood played college football at Clemson, where he posted 141 catches for 1,709 yards and six touchdowns in 36 games. His NFL career was less remarkable, as he played only one game for the Falcons in 2006 and did not record a catch.

Our thanks go out to Youngblood for his service along with everyone else in uniform on this holiday. Happy fourth of July!
