It depends which Rivers shows up. If it’s the Rivers of late there is no chance the Browns win. If it’s spazz Rivers it might be a game

Chargers are playing really good football right now, no chance they lose to the Browns.

I'd bet the Chargers win the AFCW.

since 0-4 start Chargers only 2 losses are OT loss @ Jacksonville and lose @ New England where they still had a chance the last play of the game.

They might be the 3rd best team in the AFC right now behind New England and Pittsburgh and for that matter, they are more consistent on a week to week basis than Pittsburgh.

Look for them to make a run at their division title, and some damage entering the playoffs, this team is starting to get hot at the right time, that defense is nasty, Ingram and Bosa has been a nightmare for opposing offenses.

God I ****ing envy that Dline there.. wish we could have at least one of those 2 on the Bucs..

Posted elsewhere but

Per Fox Sports:

No team in NFL history has had a worse 28-game stretch than the Cleveland Browns.

How do you even go 1-27? You'd think you'd luck your way into at least a couple wins...least more than just 1 3 point win against a Chargers team that already quit on the season. Being on severe 0-16 watch two seasons in a row must be taken a serious toll on fans patience.

It can't be all bad up there. They still get to root for the Cavs and Indians.

Browns fire Sashi Brown and commit to HC Hue Jackson for 2018 season.

I'd have to imagine Paul Podesta and other moneyball dudes are updating their resume.

It's not a terrible strategy from a long-term perspective; you bring in these moneyball dudes to trim cap and acquire draft assets for a couple years. Despite missing on QBs they've added some nice pieces along the Oline and have an elite EDGE rusher. Now had the team over to a true talent evaluator (like John Dorsey) with all that cap room and draft picks and let him do his thing. I do think the next GM needs to be in control of who the HC will be.

Unfortunately the fans had to deal with a miserable product for some time, but if the new GM hits on the QB the Browns can ascend from the ashes quickly imo. Especially if Josh Gordon can stay out of trouble.

The Browns own the Texans 1st & 2nd round picks this year (both likely top 10), plus the Eagles 2nd. So two picks in the top 10, Four in the top 42, and six in the top 65 overall. They won't have to trade up for QB either since they'll own the #1 pick.

Firing Sashi doesn't surprise me, even if I don't agree it's the right move. Passing on all those good QBs when you need one left a lot of bad taste in many mouths.

But keep Hue Jackson. Wtf? He's 1-27 in 2 years, has shown terrible game management skills, and hasn't really developed his players as much as you'd want. Damn

Browns fans are really livid right now....don't blame them either, they fired the wrong guy imo.

+1

I don't want Sashi back...I don't want Jackson back...and I wish Haslem could fire himself

DK needs to be fired the moment it goes final

Not sure it should be. A team that is 1 - 27 with hot garbage at QB gets a win at GB, one game after Eat'n Ws aka Rapey shits the bed?

That game is on pace to be over with about 7 minutes left in our game...

They won't fire DK until Monday at the earliest

I'm going to die laughing when the Browns are 8-2 and surging under Hue next year. It'd be too much. Would do wonders at pulling back owners itchy trigger fingers though.
