Allen out also.

Bucs are thin at DT.

I only see Worthy & McCoy listed on the roster. Did we pick up another DT? If not McCoy is in for a long night.

Edit: I expect Gholston & Curry to play inside more than normal this week.

It really isn't a big surprise. Again this is his 1st week really practicing with this team period. He hasn't been hit since January. He'll need time.

Gholston has taken a lot of snaps from the DT position this year. That'll continue

I’m not sure about Spence tbh. He hasn’t shown anything that says he is worth playing time.

I'm inclined to agree with you. This guy will sell tons of jerseys and posters. I bet he doesn't play before the bye. Then we'll get one or two SERIES out of him before it's locker room/IR time.

I don't. While McCoy has been decent, he hasn't lived up to his #3 overall selection.
And this Manu clown can't even get close to the field.
It's very disappointing.

She's always hated McCoy. Main reason is because McCoy smiles too much for her liking. If Making 6 pro bowls and 4 All-Pro teams isn't living up to being a #3 overall pick then idk what is....

Pro Bowls mean nothing. McCoy doesn't, can't and is not a game changer. But, awww schucks....he sure is a nice guy.

He's been one of the best defensive tackles in the league since he was drafted. And that's while being on some **** teams where he was doubled greater than 90% of the time.

Anyone who thinks McCoy isn't a very good player, and has been for a long time, either is ignorant of what they are looking at or lets their personal bias blind them to obvious facts.

I said that he's decent. Again, just not a disruptive enough force to make a difference.

C’mon Pete...Decent? Call me a homer but I think he’s one the most disruptive DT in the league. He’s the quickest DT off the line for sure, and he only gets better once he crosses the line of scrimmage.

You keep saying decent, when every one else, both the fans here (sit down AO) and national media are saying he's been one of the best of the last 10 years. Seriously, over the last 10 years the only DT who is hands down better than McCoy is Aaron Donald. And, since Bennett left, McCoy has done it his whole career without another above average lineman on the field with him.

I get it, you think he grins to much or puts too much sugar in his tea, whatever. None of the changes anything about what I said above.

Edit: my only fear with McCoy is that we absolutely wasted his career. He's a 30 year old speed guy, he's due to start slowing down. If we can't make a deep playoff run before he falls off, it will be the biggest crime since Paul Gruber.

I'm a big Ryan Smith fan but I still expect a number of plays where Brown just makes him look silly. Brown is the best WR in this league for a reason. I hope we give Smith help.
