Trust me. We know. If you had it your way it'd be Austin Allen handing off to Shaun Wilson and throwing to Bobo Wilson & David Reese each week for this team.

We were totally convinced we'd landed Favre in 2008, before the Jets poached him? ESPN just threw that out there in a story about the ten year anniversary of the trade.

Man, that's nuts. Assuming Favre doesn't suffer the shoulder injury that ruined his Jets season...there's little reason he couldn't have done for us what he did for the Vikings two years later. He went to the Jets and didn't know the coaches or the schemes. He wanted to play for Gruden and it was all the same basic concepts and terminologies he was used to.

Kind of would have changed everything. Garcia wasn't "the problem" but he's still a guy who threw 12 TDs in 12 starts.

2008 we sign Favre... he plays like he did for the Vikings...

We never draft Freeman... we never get youngry... we never go through the Schiano era... we never respond with Lovie... we never draft Winston... he never leads us to the playoffs his first 3 yea....

Wait, ****, can we go back?

All this is fine and good until you remember we're the Bucs and when's the last time things went according to plan?

Sign Favre, he blows his knee out in the fourth preseason game and we're stuck with Brian Griese.

Folks forget how good Brian Griese was in 2005!

No joke, if his knee doesn't bend backwards in Miami, I think we have a decent shot at going to the Superbowl that year. In no small part because the NFC was totally mediocre, but still. We were 5-1 when he went down. His TD/INT wasn't great, but he was producing drives when we needed them.

Gave up a strip sack on his first play, so basically the worst possible start haha. He looked ok as the game went on, but I didn't really take note of him (which is good).

Yep and that's why they suspended him during the PS. It's less than a slap on the wrist.

Exactly...Jags get to look good PR wise... actual punishment does nothing but allow their best player to miss a week of camp and a shitty ass PS game...

Hell, Ramsey might do it again next week!
