The New England Patriots listed Brady as questionable to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Sunday's AFC Championship Game because of a hand injury.

A source close to the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport that Brady suffered a cut to his right thumb during Wednesday's practice. The cut was gushing blood and required stitches, per Rapoport.

The NFL is going to change helmet straps league wide this off season.

Jacksonville is the best team in the league, outside of Bortles. He's the wild card in this.

Why was anyone near him? I'm assuming that Burkhead was sliding across to block a rusher, by why is anyone getting close? The rusher is more to blame than Burkhead. There is a reason that qb's wear red jerseys or whatever in practice. Stay away.

All a ploy to make the GOAT quarterback feel like an underdog in his own stadium...

Brady is probably at home jamming out to "Burning Heart" by Survivor while he does finger and hand push-ups..

Afterwards he's gonna run around his house, in the snow, while he pulls a sled filled with duraflame logs..

Overseas troops won't get to see the playoffs tomorrow because there's no more U.S. Government.

What happens in Philly if the Eagles win it all without Carson Wentz starting?

What happens to Teddy Bridgewater if the Vikes win it all with Keenum?

If the Jags win it all with Bortles, does he get a second contract?

There's no way Foles displaces Wentz. He's under contract next year. If he really shows well, the Eagles would probably float trade balloons, but most likely he'll back up Wentz again in 2018. Doesn't matter if he's Super Bowl MVP.

The Vikings have already made their decision I think. Bradford and Bridgewater will be gone. Keenum will be retained, either from a handsome extension or the franchise tag. Most likely Kyle Sloter, who I keep reading they love, elevates to the #2 job.

I can't see Bortles being re-signed by the Jags. At best he'd be a folk hero if they won the Super Bowl with him. But they're going to move on. My best guess is, with Eli Manning, and possibly with a high draft pick behind him (Mason Rudolph maybe.)

Just my predictions.

The more interesting question is, what, if anything, will the Patriots do with nothing in the QB cupboard but a 40 year old Brady? Will we see them package picks to move up for a QB? I seriously doubt it, but who knows.

Agreed on all points.

I imagine the Patriots have some sort of plan (and probably a plan B, C, & D). They got Jimmy G at the end of the 2nd. Perhaps they have a prospect they covet that isn't getting all of the early 1st hype. There will also be a few QBs available this off season. Maybe the guy they want won't be available until next offseason and they just ride with Brady (who despite his age hasn't shown a decline) and Hoyer. But, yeah, it will be interesting to see what they do.

Either way, I think they'll keep on keeping on for the foreseeable future.

The year they DON'T make the playoffs will be when that worm starts to turn.
