viewforum.php?f=2

the page shows that I'm not logged in and it isn't updated with the latest posts/threads. But adding the "&" and random characters forces your browser to get an un-cached page from the server. So to get the latest front page of the "Team Discussions" forum I can do this:

viewforum.php?f=2&bvs

Hopefully that will help you guys until the Admins get it squared away.

Bump, everyone should see this.

Yes, and he's absolutely right. You can also hard refresh(ctrl+refresh in IE/Edge or shift+f5 in chrome) if you've already loaded stale data to make it load fresh.

Unfortunately, even though we provided this data to our service provider on Day 1, they refuse to turn off the server side caching that was part of the 'server upgrade'. It seems that they've taken these measures in order to resolve multiple sites 'slowness issues', but its "snake oil" as far as that goes since we are not a 'static' site. Since the caching is being done by the webhost's webserver, the requests aren't even hitting the forum's scripts to be able to handle them(which is why you get the illusion of being logged in as another user). This is part of why the issue is not resolved.

We are currently evaluating other hosting options in the background to get us up and going now, but also for the future. We are disappointed that our hosting provider made these changes on our last year of hosting through them.

Bluehost used to be good, now they've gone in the toilet along with another host that used to be good (Hostgator) owned by the same company. If I were you I'd be off of them ASAP. Take a look at SiteGround for phpbb hosting. They're about the best bang for the buck.

Hello All,

We wanted to let you know that we've migrated to a new hosting provider in order to resolve the persistent caching issues that plagued us during the draft. Since we now have our own dedicated server, we should also see much better performance as well as much more control in order to remediate similar future issues much quicker.

Thank you for your patience.

PS.
Being on a new hosting provider could present its own new issues. Please use this thread to report any issues that you notice in the meantime.

If you're so inclined, we'd also like an order of wings. Hot, and have them make them extra crispy. None of that breaded ****, either.

There is no method currently in place for donations, but it is something that can be discussed.

Tampabay shirts? Good idea. You can place your orders with me as soon as I fish my phone out of the toilet.

After. The wreck was the day before delt saw me at a Storm game. I'm a fast healer like that. I also have a knack for finding free game tickets given the fact that I can't even afford stamps and **** for merchandise that was already paid for and which included my shipping and handling charge.
