So, Cleveland brings back Love for 5 years, $110M + Thompson for 5 years, $80M. So that's $190M dedicated to the Cavs PF position. Plus Irving's max extension from the last year or two. Plus whatever they're going to pay LeBron on a 1- or 2-year deal THEN LeBron's $200M max deal in 2 years.

Is Dan Gilbert printing $1,000,000 bills or something?

Dan Gilbert is finally realizing how much it cost him to publish that Comic Sans MS letter. Here is the lesson kids... Don't post your angry letters on the team website.

That is about as fair of a deal that I've seen. But man, it may just about force them to part ways with Wade.

Dragic took a pay cut so Miami can try to resign Wade. Wade is actually expected to resign a multi-year deal with the Heat

FIFY. Fwiw, most people find names helpful when reporting signings.

Cavs RE-signed Love, Shumpert, and Tristan Thomson. They are going to be loaded next year.

I'd like to see the Spurs get Aldridge. I think that would get them past the Warriors in the West.

I don't. I think the Warriors are set up for the long haul as being West favorites. They are so young and talented and have the formula for success. Great defense to go along with players who create mismatches.

Spurs on the other hand have Duncan, Parker and Ginobilli, all of whom will be yet another year older.

Free-agent power forward Greg Monroe will sign a maximum contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, sources confirmed to ESPN's Chris Broussard on Thursday.

The deal is for three years and $50 million, sources said. The third year is a player option.

If Parker comes back very strong, I can see the Bucks easily winning 50 games this coming season with the signing of Monroe and the development of Middleton and Giannis.

That's fair, The Warriors are definitely a great team. Maybe I'm just a bit old school in my thinking, but I feel that they are a jump shooting team and that will eventually burn you the deeper in the playoffs you get. I will say that the Warriors are probably the best shooting team I've ever seen.

But the Cavs showed that if you can D them up you can beat them. The Cavs just didn't have the offensive firepower to score over 100 points w/out Kyrie and Love in the line-up. The Spurs play great team defense and with two 7 footers inside the Warriors would be forced to rely on jump shots. Plus Iggy wouldn't be nearly the factor vs the Spurs as he was defending Lebron.

The Warriors defense is great on the perimeter, but I believe they would struggle matching up w/ Aldridge and Duncan inside in a 7 game series. The Cavs just didn't have the skilled big-men to take advantage of the Warriors.

Kawi Leonard would shut down Klay Thompson imo.

As great as the Warriors shoot and defend the perimeter, basketball is a game of %. With Aldridge and Duncan I just think the Spurs would dominate the glass (creating more possessions) and get easier looks inside (creating a high FG %). Plus the Spurs are the best at grinding down the pace of play, which is also key to beating the Warriors imo.

But I agree the Warriors should be preseason favorites in west, but if Aldridge goes to the Spurs and we have a Spurs v Warriors playoff series, I'd take the Spurs.
