Hockey season is almost upon us. I'm still not 100% over how the Bolts gave away the Cup a few months ago. I still feel like we were the better team. Hopefully we can get off to a good start early in the season, maintain a solid pace, avoid injuries and be firing on all cylinders come playoff time.

I've seen too many Bolts fans on social media who assume it's a given that we'll have another chance at the Finals, but we had to BATTLE just to make it there.

I read a thing where Drouin is looking good on offense and defense, and they're hoping to pair him with Stamkos. That would be fun to see if he reaches that potential.

I'm ready for the season mostly so I can get the bitter taste out of my mouth from how last season ended.

Was awesome to watch Hockeyville the other night. Glad to see both teams brought fun to my hometown for a night. Enjoyed Geno in pure Slapshot mode and thank god for the money coming in for local hockey. I expect a few more people developing lasting careers from the area.

Also, The Pens may be the best team in the league on paper. Never seen a front 6 like they have now.

Stamkos goes public about how he's disappointed in our preseason performance and now we have Stalman, Stamkos and Callahan all being given the night off. Very irritating to say the least

Same, plus I'm excited to actually watch one of my teams actually win games(because the Rays and Bucs don't consistently). Even with the slow start to preseason, the Bolts are still probably the best team in the East.

Got to watch it at B-Dubs last night. What a game! Bish stopping not just 1 penalty shot, but 2 with one of them in OT?! Wow! That was fun.

Great win for the Bolts today. Fell behind 2-0 in the first 2 minutes then scored 6 of the next 7 goals. Snapped a 10-game losing streak in Boston.

Stamkos with point #500 for the career.

Off to a 3-0 start. In all 3 games, TB's gotten off to sluggish starts but have finished strong.

I'll be making my first trip to RayJay on Nov. 15 vs the Cowboys (I live in Texas, been to several Bucs games in Dallas & Houston, but never seen a game at RayJay).

I'm also hoping to catch the Lightning. They play at home on Nov. 14 against the Panthers. Any suggestions on where to sit in Amalie? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I know it sounds cliche, but there's really not a bad seat in the building. I've enjoyed every seat I've had there from the upper deck to the luxury suites. There's some reasonably priced food at spots like the PDQ, but be ready to back up the Brinks truck for beer.

Thanks. I heard the same from a few Bolts fans on Twitter about there's not really any bad seat.

I could've gone the expensive route and gotten tickets in the lower section but I'm already spending enough on airfare, hotel, car rental, Bucs tickets, that I just got some $18 tickets in Section 330. Looking forward to it. I've heard the fan experience at Amalie the past couple years has been awesome. Can't wait.

First loss of the season last night. But it was the Bolts third game in four nights and second of a back to back on the road. Tough to beat Boston and Detroit on the road in a B2B.

Now just come home and rebound with a win over Dallas on Thursday.

Bad loss for the Lightning last night. Totally dominated against at home with a day's rest vs the Stars. Hedman injured and his status is unknown. He definitely won't play Saturday. We can't afford to lose him for an extended period of time.

Started 3-0 but didn't look great, or even good, getting there. Now, lost 2 in a row. One of those came on the road in the second of a back-to-back, but the loss to Dallas last night was ugly.

If the Bolts would stop screwing around and play some decent hockey, that'd be great.

I really hate bishop...he's like the friend you don't want when you are getting shot at because you're gonna get shot...only team in nhl where you still lose when your goalie saves 24...he's still a piece of **** though.

Anyone going to be at the game Saturday?

I live in Texas but am making a trip this weekend for the Bolts on Saturday and Bucs on Sunday.

Hated hearing that Palat will miss a month or so. He's one of my favorite players.

I caught a highlight of an absolutely sick goal scored by Stralman last night (starts at the 3:42 mark).

The more negative SSS gets about the team, the better we seem to do...
