Colombia winning group probably changes dynamic of England-Belgium game a bit. Winner now gets Japan in first round which would make winning group more enticing. Still unbalanced with the left side looking a lot stronger than the right.

Yep, Colombia is a good team but they aren’t lookimg good now. I’ll admit I was pulling for Senegal

Man, that first knockout game was a good one. Let’s hope for more of the same

I love watching South American teams lose....that being said it’s going to be hard to root for Portugal next game

Thank you to France for ending Argentina misery.

That was very entertaining. While Cinderella stories are great and all, the best soccer comes when you get the cream in the knockout rounds.

Was hoping to see Messi vs Ronaldo in quarters, but oh well. France should be able to get the semis to face either Belgium or Brazil.

Suarez is making me really, really HATE Uruguay. He has surpassed Neymar as soccer’s flop king and continues to be one of the biggest cry-babies ever.

Good thing Brad Marchand doesn't watch Luis Suarez.

No one happier that Spain is out than England. Their chances to get to their first World Cup in 40 just got a lot easier. That being said, it is England. They’ll prolly find a way to screw it up.

They should be worried about Colombia, I do believe they will beat Colombia...you just never know with them.

Too many people discounting Belgium. I don't get it. At least 3 times during the telecast I heard the announcers talking about a France-Brazil semi. I'm like "Doesn't Brazil have to play Belgium first?" (assuming Belgium wins today). Belgium is a hell of a lot better than Mexico with that 1-2 punch of Lukaku and DeBruyne. I think they're more dangerous than France and any team standing in Brazil's way of a WC.

Brazil is looking solid, but let's slow down on annointing them WC champs. Belgium is #3 in the world for a reason and they're playing like it and then some.

anybody catch the end to that denmark / croatia game!? absolutely insane amount of penalty kick saves from both goalies. That denmark goalie just ran out of rabbits - he had an incredible clutch save on a free kick (modric) right before the match ended too

Kasper Schmeichel is the ****. It's in his blood. His pops is the best keeper in Danish history and one of the best Man U ever had.
