And Snell is FAR more than wins. IMO, WINS are meaningless. I hang my hat on ERA personally.

That said...Snell's is sub 2.00. 1.98 (I think).

I've seen JDG and Snell pitch multiple games this year. They are (IMO) the 2 best pitchers in baseball...and it really isn't that close.

So the Rays bought the Rowdies and Al Lang Field. Could that mean that the Rowdies will be moving to Tampa also? That would fit the Rays' pitch for the new stadium being a "year round venue" if they could figure a soccer field into it somehow.

Read this in a Fennelly article this morning...

...they won 90 times, more than any team that didn't make the playoffs. They used 54 players, 31 pitchers, 17 starting pitchers and 23 rookies. A fire drill became a raging baseball success story.


That is pretty amazing.
