Blake Snell is about to get his 10th win to go 10-4. Seems like a totally different pitcher than last year.

This team is so ***damn STREAKY. We win 5 in a row, then lose 7, 3 game winning streak, 3 game losing streak, win, loss, win, loss, now 5 game winning streak. Our worst losing streaks are then followed by our best winning streams. It's like a roller coaster

In all sincerity...I DETEST Stewie the Absentee Landlord...but this may be the most fun I've had watching the Devil Rays in a long, LONG time.

Thank God they have started playing the kids. Unfortunately, Ramos will be gone soon. He's awesome. We have a glut of infielders. Hecchevaria is gone as well. Hopefully, we can get a quality return for these guys...unlike the players we lost in the off-season.

I'm fascinated to find out how this team ends the 2nd half of the season.

The future looks bright for Tampa.

Interesting, because this is probably the least I've watched them in years. Not intentionally, I just kind of checked out toward the end of last season and never got ramped back up. About all they get from me is a few glances up at the screen while I'm at the gym or whatever. Maybe I should start paying attention again.

Pretty much the same here. I don’t like cash. They started the season off by getting rid of everyone, I checked out.

I can't really dislike Cash as he usually has his teams playing much better baseball then they really should. With our current lineup, and insane pitching injuries this year, we really should probably be one of the worst teams in baseball...but we're not. We're hovering around .500 again and our bullpen "Opener' pitching strategy is even starting to catch on with other teams(IIRC, we have the lowest ERA in the MLB since we started using it in May). We just need more talent...and we're going to get some soon. There are a couple other guys that will probably reach the majors this season(Like our OF prospect Williams). Next year, it's possible we'll see McKay, Sanchez, Fox, and Honeywell(depending on his rehab) reach the majors.

About 10 games better than I would have thought. This team is...frustrating. They certainly won't make the playoffs and they'll likely sell of assets which will hurt W/L record. We're basically tires stuck in mud for the foreseeable future.

This team is FAR from frustrating.

We started the year, what...1-8 or so?

Their record in one-run games is ****ing abysmal.

At the beginning of the year, most of us thought we would be one of the 3 worst teams in MLB. Maybe 2 worst. If you would've told me, we would be down 3 of our starting 5 pitchers, for this long...and be a .500 team? I would've thought you were high AF.

We have (arguably) the best infield in MLB. No...we have no shot at making the post season (BOS/NY or SEA has it wrapped up) but we very well may be the 1st team OUT of the playoffs. We have the best ERA in baseball since May. That's just absurd.

We are gonna take a BIG hit when we trade off Ramos but goddam...these kids are impressive.

Kudos to Cash and the staff. This team is WAY out-performing expectations. Just look at the schedule we've had in June. Mariners (twice). Yankees (twice). The WAS Nationals. The Mariners (twice). The Astros. To be .500 today is remarkable, frankly. You have to give credit where it's due...and this team deserves a TON of it.

Really looking forward to see how this team ends the season.

I've checked out because we have the WORST owner in professional sports.

I wanted to really want this team to suck and leave town...and take our dirt-bag owner with them.

Nobody told the kids, however. They just play hard. They just win...a lot.

It's damn tough not to cheer for this team.

Its because the kids know if they play good they’ll probably get traded to a good team by the deadline. If you like living in Tampa, bat .198.

The Rays went 8-1 at Tropicana Field, taking three of four from the World Series champion Astros, sweeping three from the New York Yankees and winning both games against Washington. Tampa Bay set a team record by allowing no more than two runs in its sixth straight game.

Eovaldi had a fun game today. Took a perfect into the 7th, and had an RBI single

Snell getting completely snubbed for the All-Star team is a ****ing joke. Unfortunately, so much of MLB is these days.

It's on both baseball and the lazy ass players. First, the players still mail in paper ballots, which means they did it weeks ago when he was a solid 8-4, but that's it. Solid. It probably would have been a different story if the voting joined us in this century so that it was up to date. Second, paper ballots don't give the lazy ass players ready access to the stats of the people they're voting on, so the whole popular name thing gets a bump.

So, a stadium reveal tonight? They had better find some way to incorporate real grass.

Since it likely will be an outdoor stadium it probably will have real grass. I can't wait to see the design.

2:00pm most likely retractable roof

The architect drawings, which will be unveiled at a private media event in Ybor, will reveal what kind of roof — retractable or translucent dome — and the capacity of the stadium.
