Barry Bonds and Roger Clemons are on the board. Anyone?

It looks like both will be in the 50% range according to Buster Onley.

I hope Vladimir Guerrero gets in.

Clemens can **** off and die in a fire.

Bonds should 100% be in.

Johan Santana should be getting a lot more attention than being dropped off the ballot his first year of eligibility, tied for last with Johnny Damon. Andruw Jones should be getting much more attention, too. Anyone who votes for Omar Vizquel should have their credentials revoked. Billy Wagner was a much better pitcher than Trevor Hoffman.

If anyone is interested in seeing how the publicly released ballots are shaking out so far, there's an amazing tracker here: bit.ly/hof18

In 1998 I had seats in left field at the Trop for a Rays/Expos game. Vlad was out there before the game with a few other players goofing around and warming up. He turned around, pointed to me, and threw the ball to me. I thought he was just giving me the ball, but then motioned me to throw it back. We threw the ball back and forth maybe 10 times before he ran in. He crushed a home run that game and I followed his career ever since. I saw him play twice in Anaheim, once in Atlanta, and twice in Tampa. Pretty awesome to see him get in.

He played catch with you? That's awesome. Did you get the ball at the end?

I did.

After the game he signed it. I have it in my bookshelf in my office.

And Rocker, they both should be in already. Especially Bonds.
