Conneticut Girl's HS Championships

Postby Caradoc » Thu Jun 08, 2017 5:08 pm

Transgender sprinter Andraya Yearwood, a freshman who was born a male, won the girls 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at the Connecticut high school Class M state championships —

Kate Hall — who last year won the girls 100-meter dash Class M state title as a sophomore — came in second to Yearwood at this year’s 100-meter race and was tearful in the aftermath, the Hartford Courant reported.

“It’s frustrating,” Hall of Stonington High School told the Courant. “But that’s just the way it is now.”

I don't get how this was allowed. Sure, it might prefer to be considered female, but if you're born male, you're going to have the better athletic traits that males typically have. Seems like an unfair advantage

edit: Just clicked the link....even worse, it's a black athletic dude vs girls that are half his/her size. That's insanely unfair

The "opposite" happened in Texas last year...someone who was born a girl and was transitioning to a boy had to wrestle in the girls class and she won easily. (S)he was taking injections of testosterone and wanted to wrestle the boys but wasn't allowed.

Liberalism run amuck...

i wouldn't be surprised if the 'transition' was funded by tax dollars, to boot.

You should look into that. Maybe uncle Sam can get you a pair of balls too.

Yup. This type of **** will ruin women's sports if it isn't stopped. I'm curious where the title IX advocates weigh in on this?

15 years ago this was material for a comedy movie, but if we stay on our current course it will be reality in a few years.

So 'she' won these sprints as a freshman? I guess the only way to stop 'her' from winning everything until 'she' graduates is to find a faster boy and convert him to female. What the hell is wrong with the dads in Conneticut? If my daughter was crying after being robbed of victory by someone born with a Y chromosome I would be livid.

People laugh, but there's a reason I bolded the part where the real girl says "I can't really say what I want to say".

That a HS girl has to think like that says a lot about what a certain segment of society has done to this country (and others).

Just clicked myself. 15 year old girl my ass. It looks like Janoris Jenkins. Maybe it should be trying to hold Mike Evans to under 100 yards rather than playing with little girls?

There really is no defending this. May as well do away with gendered sports altogether if travesties such as this are going to become the norm.

This "girl" is just as male as any other 15yr old boy from a biological perspective. She has a **** and two balls and is not under taking any 'transition therapy' hormones. 'She' is 15 with a mustache for Christs sake.

Letting "her" compete against other girls is borderline criminal in my opinion based on what those real girls are getting taken from them so some confused dude wants to race girls.

When I watch Broken Skull Challenge, the female competition is always better.

They don't strut or bullshit, they just compete. Admire those gals ten times as much as the bros.

Ummmm. I believe you are? Right now... You just quoted me and everything.

Or did you mean to ask me who the **** 'was' talking to me? That would make more sense.
