Cue the "Oh no! Does LBJ have anything left in the tank after being to 7 straight finals" media overreaction...

Or, maybe they'll go with "he has NOONE around him"...

Decisions, decisions...

Lol, so true.

I still really enjoyed the game. I'm excited to see adjustments for the next game. The Cavs need to protect Love from defending on switches, he was horribly abused. That's pretty typical of a Mike Brown team. I'm shocked the Cavs didn't plan better for it. Instead of gegting killed by 3s, they let the Warriors free passes to the paint.

Durant(who was the best plaher on the floor) and Curry were great on offense and while Klay still can't find his shot, he was great on D.

While it's obvious the Cavs can play much better, the Warriors can too.

Edit: That's the best overall game I've seen Durant play on the Warriors.

Agreed..

And Thompson (CLE) was a complete non-factor...

IMO, the best bet Cleveland may have is to go small with:

Kyrie, Smith, Korver/Shump/Williams, LBJ, Love

But with KD's addition, I think GS can not only match that lineup, but possibly better it.. especially because the Warriors (IMO) have more flexibility on D with a lineup of:

Curry, Thompson, Iggy, KD, Green

They CAN'T do that again. There's no way they can use that excuse for a 3rd time.

He didn't have any help in Cleveland the first time around. And that was true, although I feel like he had a better supporting cast at times than how some people make it seem like. But, yes, he didn't have enough help his first Cavs tenure.

Then when the Heat lost, that excuse popped up again. Give me a break. That team was stacked.

Now, he's got 2 All-Stars IN THEIR PRIMES, along with a great supporting cast. There's NO WAY anyone can use that excuse now. Right?

I can see the media and LeBron groupies using "he's tired" excuse. They'll have to come up with something. But no way can it be "he doesn't have help."

No one in the media is pointing this out, but Durant absolutely owned LeBron last night 1 on 1. Watch KD's highlight reel from last night, and you'll see him getting by LeBron whenever he wants. Also, LeBron was usually the one jumping OUT of the way in transition, which led to uncontested dunks. LeBron's defense last night was horrid.

But with the Warriors in transition, there's NO WAY to defend them. If you stop ball in the middle (like you ALWAYS SHOULD), that leaves Steph or Klay on the outside for an open 3. But still, you have to stop ball.

All-Star point guard Chris Paul intends to give the San Antonio Spurs serious consideration in free agency this summer in the event he decides to leave the LA Clippers, according to league sources.

That would be awesome for the league. GS would have real competition out West.

If the Celtics can get through trade or draft, a real super star, there could be 4 elite teams in the NBA.

NBA basketball is getting SO hard to watch..

These guys are beating the hell out of each other, no calls..hell this makes the old Piston and Knicks teams look like disciplined basketball..

And there have been so many no calls on traveling/carrying it's freakin ridiculous..

At one point Kyrie (near the sideline bench) literally picked the ball up against his hip, then start d dribbling again..

That's been the NBA since the 90s regarding carry/traveling. It was essential to Jordan and Iverson's isolation game and the league allowed it for excitement.

I love when they are able to beat the hell out of each other.

I like physical hoops too..but some of these exchanges are downright ridiculous..

And an extra step on a drive to the rim is completely different than a blatant overhand carry just after crossing midcourt..

I agree. I'm saying it's been part of the game for a while. Lebron and Steph are two of the worst at it. Don't even begin on moving your pivot foot. I've just accepted it.

The Warriors came hard after half... Looks eerily similar to last year. I don't think the Cavs can come back from 3-1 against Durant.

Yeah, this series is DONE..

Adding KD to the GS arsenal is just downright unfair..

Cavs don't have enough fire power..no way..no how..

The Warriors is better than last year Warriors that won 73 games

14-0 in playoff this year

I still think the series goes 6. Cavs are just outmatched. This reminds me of the Heat v Thunder series in 2012.

I didn't know this until they were talking about it during the last game, but Durant is 7' tall. For whatever reason his height has been wrong all these years. He admitted it in an interview in December.

That's crazy to be that skilled and that tall. I just saw a picture of him standing next to Cousins and he's definitely taller.

That makes no sense. He was said to be 6'11 coming into the league. Who had him at 6'9?

I think this one is gonna get ugly again for Cleveland...GS took their best punch and they are STILL in the lead..

Cavs just play stupid at times..hero ball, bad passing, bad shot selection..not good enough offensively to play like that..

Yep, get the confetti and band ready..

This ****er is DONE..

Horrible shot selection at the end by Cleveland.. absolutely horrible..

And LBJ passing off (to someone in the left corner..Love I think) boggles my mind...no way MJ was passing the ball in that situation..

It was Korver, who is only in the league b/c he makes shots like that. When MJ passed to Kerr or BJ Armstrong they made those shots. Kicking out to open 3pt shooters is how the game is played these days (not that I like it).

Cavs played terrible that final 2 minutes of that game. Credit to KD for nailing that walk down 3. But after that the Cavs still had a chance to get a 2-1 down a point but Kyrie was too busy pounding the ball into ground. They he missed and the Cavs didn't foul Draymond when they had the chance after the rebound.

Just terrible execution by the Cavs late in that game and KD was clutch down the stretch.

Series over...
