Video editing software suggestions

Postby Zarniwoop » Sun Mar 25, 2018 5:49 pm

I’m looking to get some video editing software so I can cut and splice go pro videos of me and my daughter riding dirtbikes. In addition I want to find something that can speed the video up and slow it down in segments and then overlap music on top.

I’m pretty pathetic with technology ... I’m just using MovieMaker now and I don’t care for it much.

Will be running it on an old PC

Any suggestions?

Thanks

For your use, Corel's VideoStudio Pro would be a good option that won't break the bank. It has options that would work well for you including motion tracking and split screen. If you want to get more involved with editing though, you might want to upgrade the old rig. If you're trying to edit 4k go pro with less than, say, 3.0 Ghz processor and 8 Gb RAM, you're gonna have a bad time.
